Sketch Saturday Challenge

I REALLY wanted to use my new House Mouse stamp as it was an absolute bargain! £3.55 incl p&p off Ebay...... I had already stamped the image and coloured it in. So that was half the job and saved some time. The paper is actually Christmas paper! lol It just seemed to fit really well with the image :)

3-in1 challenge - Mojo 87, Colour Create & Forever friends Challenges

So a card with challenges!!

Mojo Monday is a sketch, Colour Create is to use Sky Blue, Tan & Ecru and the Forever Friends is Birthday Boy (so make a card for a boy for his birthday)

The colours aren't bang on for the Colour Create Challenge but they are as near as damn it! lol
With the image I used the back of my bookatrix board to get the circle and then used the scallop edge scirrors for the edge on the layer underneath. I did stamp the image first as well :) There isn't a greeting on the card yet as I don't know what The lady wnats on it yet lol

The image I had from a friend which has been watercoloured. The paper I brought yesterday, must admit I'm a BIG fan of ginigham! lol

Friday Sketchers Challenge

SO this is my creation......

Yep! It's another xmas card but I wanted to use a big image lol I love this image tho, always makes me laugh! :)

Paper I found in my stash so I really couldn't tell you what make it is. Image is Dolly Mama - Ho!

You can just make out that on the white bits of the hat, dress, gloves & boots there is white glitter. It's quite a muted card as regards to colours but I like it :)

Just Magnolia Challenge Card

So this is my creation:

A brilliant sketch this week. Really enjoyed making this card. Had loads of ideas as well :)

The papers are from the Papermania, Ivory/Cream set I think they are. Never thought of using them together before but I think the gold really sets it off. The flowers I got today from Cats Crafty Cabin along with the gold card. (She sells both in her shop). The sentiment I had free with a magazine. It's come in handy.

Ballerina Bugs!!!!

Love these little bugs, there so cute! I say that tho and they are so fiddly. I will have 5 sets to make up in a bit as well. Put them on ebay and a person has bid on all 5 sets! :D
These ones have little glittery dresses on them and vellum wings.... although you can really see the wings! lol

Onto the next thing I was doing last night......

My mate Cat has just recently opened up a shop by her. She sells craft stuff and handmade cards. Cat has a blog already but decided that she would like one to run along side the shop business....... so this is what I came up with ..... Cats Crafty Cabin. This is the name of her shop also so I have used it as the blogs title as well. It's very much a work in progress at the moment. But if anyone has time to take a peek at her blog she would be much appreciated :)

Whiff Of Joy - Friendship Card

A very quick make from me as Mam wanted a card doing in 10 mins flat for her friend! I sooooooooooooo LOVE it when she does this to me!

Bit of a random colour scheme tbh but it's turned out okay. Probably could of gone onto a purple card instead of a green but hey ho :D

The image I coloured, cut round and then 3D'd to add a bit more depth.

The greeting has been stamped as well, dont have clue what make the stamp is without looking either! lol

Mojo Monday 86

So this is my card for the Mojo Monday blog.

It's my cousin's birthday today and Mam asked me to make a card for her, well a Forever Friends one in particular lol.

The image is a sticker which I stuck down onto white card and cut round. Its a lot easier to raise when it's already been stuck down to card :)

The paper is out of the pack of decoupage sheets. I just didn't feel any of the papers went with the images so used it with another image.

Friday Sketchers Challenge

Yes!! Sorry it's a Xmas card! :-s hehehe........

I was using my "Pip" stamp yesterday and remembered that I had a "Polly" stamp too but it was an Xmas one but hey ho....... might as well get a head start! lol

So this is my interpretation of the sketch :

"Polly" has been stamped onto the blue card as well. At her feet there is white glitter to look like snow/ice.

I only brought it to make my Dad's Fathers Day Card as he's fisherman! LOL!!

So the Cupcake Craft Challenge is to make a card for a man or a boy:

“For my challenge I would like ‘a card for a man or boy’ – only because everyone dislikes making this type of card so much LOL! The Sugar Bowl challenge is a sketch by Marlene.

The flower I cut out myself from a template and just doodled on the petals. There is a doodled border on the blue backing as well but I don't know if it really shows up lol

My Time To Craft Challenge - Black & White Plus One

Well my plus one is red! This is what I came up with :D

Thought I would use a Dolly Mama stamp as I haven't used them in ages. This ones called "It's official, I've become my mother" Haha! I love the little funny sayings on these stamps.

The Paper I have used is from "Charcoal Prints" by Dovecraft. Great papers!!

I decided to make a Boys card as the colours to me are boyish lol

2. Just Magnolia Challenge is to make a card using the sketch. I found this difficult after deciding to make a boys card! I couldn't exactly put flowers on it! lol Buttons to the rescue! :D

1. I have used the sketch from the Forever Friends Challenge Blog and the image as well to enter the challenge.

2. The ABC Challenge Blog is L for List this week with the list consisting of 1 ribbon, 3 flowers, 6 brads.

The paper I have used is "Pink Martini Designs" which is double sided. I love the colours! It's so easy to work with. The peel off greeting has been coloured over as well to match the card :)
