PBSC - A sketch

So this is my first post for ages!!! Thought I would have a go at the PBSC challenge this week.
The frog was a pain!! lol He wouldn't fit on the white so stamped him onto vellum and used silicone glue to add him too the card.
Great Sketch!! Will be using this again :)

PBSC - In the garden

Well then, I thought I would use this little fellow for this challenge :)
I love the colour purple as well so this was a pretty easy card to make.
Added a few flowers and pins to finish the card off. The little hedgie as been coloured using promarkers.

it's been a while....... 2 challenges in 1......

Two challenges in one for the first post then.
I have combined the Just Magnolia challenge with the Friday sketchers challenge.

The sketch was easy enough to do, but making a card with the theme "hot & spicy" was a bit tricky!! I googled "hot & spicy" and an image came up of chilli's in a circle with the colours ranging from green to yellow to orange to red. That's how I cam up with the colour scheme!
I embossed the panels with 3 different cuttlebug folders to had texture. 6 brads and 3 ribbons have also been added :)

PBSC - Receipe challenge

It's been ages since I've posted!! Hopefully I will catch up and post some more now :)

Made this card this morning, it was a pretty quick make to be honest.

I did have a quick look at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge Blog and incorporated the "receipe" of "3 flowers, 2 buttons and 1 bow" into my card.

The image is a stickeroo which go quite nice with the backing papers from the papermania collection along with the flowers and buttons also.

I dont usually make cards with these colours or patterns but I'm pretty pleased with the end result :)

House Mouse Monday - Valentine

Well it's coming to that time of year again where we show our loved ones how much we care and if thet're lucky they might get a card.......lol.

Please feel free to make whatever you wish using the Valentine theme."


I don't do valentine's day!! Lol! So this is the only card that will be made for this occasion :)
The House Mouse stamp was a bargain from ebay and perfect for this challenge.

I also weaved red ribbon into the white "stuff" (I have no idea what it's called so can be "stuff" Lol!) Embossed the background as well with the hearts cuttlebug folder and added some heart pearls.

Totally Gorjuss - Paper Piercing

I love this stamp!!
Think I best buy another one before I wear this one out!! Good excuse to buy a new one though :D :D

A pretty simple card for me layout wise. I really wanted to show the paper more than anything.
So the totally gorjuss challenge this week was a good one for me. I did want to get so more of the black dots into the coat but I couldn't get more than 1 because of the distance between them! The hat is also cut from the paper as well :) I have stamped the sentiment onto the paper as well. Added a bit of ribbon and come black pearls.

sketch saturday - wk 88

I LOVE this lil guy!! I brought him a while ago and totally forgot I had got him. Found him when I was rummaging through my other stamps. Perfect for a little boy's 3rd birthday card! :)

So my entry for Sketch Saturday is below.

The papers are from a papermania pad with a panel of embossing.
The dragon has been coloured in using promarkers.
I have now added a no.3 to the balloon for the little boy's birthday :)

Create4fun - wk 5

Create4fun - week 5 is a sketch.

This is my take on the challenge. I had already coloured the image in with pink and purple so added some paper to go with it. Each of the 4 panels has been embossed with either swirls or hearts. A flower, sentiment and heart pearls I have added for extra detail.

The colour scheme is quite bright although the picture doesn't show the brown. It looks more black! But the colour scheme is dark brown and hot pink. Something quite sweet!

I also used lots of elements on this card : die cuts, embossing, pearls, ribbon and quilling. The image is also coloured in using promarkers.

Totally Gorjuss - Dimension

So this is my challenge card. As you can see from the picture above I have used lots of dimension on my card. The layers are all at different heights with the image layered as well along with some pearls (see picture below)

The layout, I interpreted the Mojo Monday Challenge Sketch for this week. Turned it round slightly. The colour scheme came about from the ribbon. I found it in my craft stash ;) I used promarkers on the image to give the image a strong deep colour.

So this is my card that I have made form the sketch :)

A good sketch as well, will defo be using this sketch again. Did take a while to make tho!! :-S

Had these papers for a while and never actually used them until today. Put the backing paper down against the gold card and found a scrap of the pink flower paper as well. The ribbon at the bottom of the card I have weaved into the lace stuff ( I have no idea what it's called!! lol)
Trust me when I say it took ages because it actually did! The colours are pretty muted for me as well to be honest so this was like a double challenge!

Create4fun Challenge

First time I have participated in the blog challenge. A great sketch tho.

Here is my card....

Black & White is my favourite colour scheme to use for wedding cards.

Image is Forever Friends and coloured with watercolour pencils. "Bride & Groom" wording is a peel off, congratulations is written on the ribbon and black peels have been used.

Just Magnolia - Paper Pleating

This is my card for the paper pleats challenge.....

The paper pleating was easy to do but I realised I had done it a different way!! I tried with stripes first but you couldn't see the pleating lol.

The image is my new Tilda stamp, She arrived last week so I thought I would use her for this challenge :)

Added some flowers, a charm and some pearls to finish the card off.

Whiff Of Joy - Colour Challenge

Haven't posted for while so I thought I better enter some blog challenges.

This is the first one I did this morning...

Whiff of Joy have posted there challenge for this week :

"This weeks challenge is a colour challenge. We would like to see you use the colours Aqua and Red!! These colours look beautiful together"

So this is my take on the challenge....

The paper I have had for ages and never known what to use it on, lucky really because this is the only paper I have that is aqua! lol. Haven't used my whiff of joy stamps either for a while. Added some gems for a bit of bling and a bit a ribbon as well :)
