Full Card

The image is from Make It Crafty and is called "Fairy Twinkles" and she can be found HERE. She has been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. When I coloured her, I didn't realise I had some paper that would match perfectly! She is backed onto white embossed glitter card. I wanted to add a bit of sparkle. a greeting added and some card candi.... finished.

Here's a few more pics of the card:

My Time To Craft - Special Christmas

A super late post from me! It's now 23.16pm here. Oops.
I have been busy listing stuff on eBay, it's sooooo time consuming!

Anyhow, over at My Time To Craft they have a challenge of "Special Christmas".
Now, I've just finished a lot of cards for an order so picking was very difficult..
But I decided on this one:

Full Card
 "To Special Friends"
The lampost is a digi image from Mo Manning, it can be found HERE. It has been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. A simple card but I feel quite elegant and effective. The bow is attached to the card by the use of an eyelet and twine. Wow, was that fiddly! I added a bit of glitter to the floor as well so it looks as though the snow is sparkly.

Had to post this this morning beens as someone decided to switch the internet off without asking!

Catherine....

Been a while since I used a SOG image, bearing in mind I have a folder full of them which are waiting to be coloured! Always the way...
So the image is called "Sway Mae" from Some Odd Girl.

Full Card
I have paper pieced her dress, shoes and bow but coloured in the stripe on her dress. The flowers are punched out of cordinating card. I resisted the ribbon and bow this time but I have used twine instead.

Tags!

You know when you first print an image out, you colour it and then you think
"Wow! These are tiny!! what am I gonna use these for?!"
Well I did that! But, I had seen the idea of tags on another blog and thought I'd give them a go.
I was admit, once I had started, they didn't seem as daunting as I thought!

Tags!
I made 6 tags altogether and used the Meoples "No Peeking" digi images from C.C Designs.
They can be found HERE. The sentiments were printed off the PC. The tags themselves are embossed and I've used die cut snowflakes.

Warm Winter Wishes...

...bbbbbrrrrr!! It's cold and we aren't even half way through November!

Today I thought I'd make a light grey and blue card, not sure the greeting of "Warm Winter Wishes" goes though as it's quite and icy colour scheme. But anyways, it's stuck down now so hey ho.

Full Card
The image itself isn't really a christmas image but I think I've got away with it. It's from Crafts and Me and it's by Hannah Lynn. The backing paper hasn't shown up in the picture but it is glitter up. I also used liquid pearls on the hair to highlight it as well.

Red Poppies and/or Flowers

I used the and/or of Red Flowers.

I do have poppies but the image I wanted is for Mommyo's Birthday card and I had already coloured these in for the card. The challenge I'm entering this into is Creative Inspirations.

Clean and Simple for this as I wanted the image to be quite predominant. I have embossed the background using two different folders. The image is a digi stamp by Just Inklined.

Mom's the word...

It's that time of year again, oh how I love this time of year... Mommyo's Birthday.

Thinking caps at the ready!

Now most will get away with making one card for their Mommyo's birthday, but nope, not mine. I have the task of making 4... 4 that will have to be completely different. Luckily for me though, She likes a lot of things and a lot of colours, so I'm pretty safe with almost everything.

So the card that is off me is this...

The image is from Crafts U Print and it is a digi image which has been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. Best pens ever! I love them! In the close up picture, I used a Sakura Stardust pen to add some shimmer.

I'm entering this in to the In The Pink challenge of "Ribbons & Bows". First time with this challenge blog, as I only came across it the other day.

Close up
I think you can just about make out the shimmer...

This was the other card off my Brother & Partner, Daddyo's card is coming up in the next post.

JOY

My first christmas card of the year... WOW!
By the time end of November comes, I'm fed up with them, lol.

The image on this is super cute, it's from the Meoples range at C.C Designs.
So, a little less traditional with the colours as well, (I for one don't like pink!) but I know the intended recipient will love it.

Full Card
The "JOY" and the bobble hat have been cut from the backing paper and the blue card used for the matt and layering. Perfect for the Crafty Catz Challenge of Paper Piecing. A bit of twine plus a nice big double snowflake to finish it off.

Think I will be hunting for the "NOEL" Snowmen now... hmmmm... where did I put them?!
