My Time To Craft DT - New

Morning! 

Other saturday which means another challenge over at My Time To Craft. This weeks challenge is

"New" but not new stash! So anything along the lines of new baby, home, job etc. 

I've gone with the theme of new baby just because I wanted to use my baby onesie die! It's awesome! It's from The Greeting Farm and I LOVE it! 

The papers are from the Papermania Capsule Collection, spots and stripes - pastels. The "baby" is a die-cut. Beens I haven't used any twine or ribbon (shocking!) I thought I'd use a few lilly buttons to jazz it up a bit. The onesie die is so versatile tho. It comes with 3 different collars plus a bow as well. Oh, I've had one of those lightbulb moments! Watch this space!

Swing Into Love...

Wow. This post should have posted on the 15th, it's took me till today to finally access blogger. 

Annoyed is not the word. 

Over at 2 Sisters, it's showcase weeks.

We were originally given two super cute images from A Random Fan. 

Last time I used Underpants Hero, this time I've used Swing Into Love.

The card itself I've embossed with a linen effect board. I have no idea where it's from. I aquired it and it's sooooo old! I wanted to keep the card quite simple and monochromatic but adding a hint of colour with the red heart which is punched out. Image has been coloured using Spectrum Noirs.

I really do hope my blogger stays working!

My Time To Craft DT - Sympathy

Morning everyone! 

Hope you are all well. 

I'm off away for the weekend for my Sister-in-Law to be's hen weekend. So this may be a short/quickish post from me. 

A subject I always get stuck with for the challenge over at My Time To Craft which is 

"Sympathy" 

It's a hard subject at the best of times but I wanted to keep the card CAS (Clean And Simple). 

A few die-cuts, a bit of embossing, of course there was going to be some twine in there somewhere  and some pearls. The flower and leaf is actually a punch but the ovals and swirl are die-cuts.

My Time To Craft DT - Buttons & Ribbon

Good Morning!

I promise, no comic book characters in sight for this post!

Another week has gone by and that means another challenge over at My Time To Craft. this weeks challenge is 

"Use at least 3 buttons and 1 ribbon" 

Now, even tho I've got a double bow on my card, it is still only one ribbon. So here's what I've got.

I opted for a Saturated Canary girl on this card. More than likely, Mommyo will say "I'll have that one for lilly niece's birthday" I say lilly, she'll be 12 and yes, she is a pain in the backside! The buttons, I've tied twine through them as well as I thought they looked a little plain on their own. Wanted to keep it quite simple as well hence not a lot of embellishments on the card. 

A pretty short post this week. Must say, I love the app on my pc that allows me to collage my pictures! Awesome!

My Time To Craft DT - Superheroes!

Good Morning Peeps!

What a challenge we have instore for you this week! Eeeek! Last week I said that I was a geek with comic books and films, well this weeks challenge over at My Time To Craft is 

Superheroes!!

Awesome! I did actually colour in Batman, Batgirl, Spidermouse and Ironman but opted for Batman. So here's what I've got:

The digi image is Simply Betty. If you've not been to visit the store, they have some awesome digi's! Again, coloured using Spectrum Noirs. The backing paper is from a digi download paper pack. The bat in the circle I had to cut out by hand. It turned out okay tho I think? Of course I had to add a bit of twine n a yellow button. Behind Batman, the yellow cirle is embossed too. Sentiment is printed off the pc.

I also wanted to share something with you as well. Whilst I was colouring in the superheroes, I had the idea of colouring in the Joker. Now, you can't get a digi of the Joker but you can get line art. This was drawn by Harmine (you can check her Deviantart page out HERE) but I've coloured it. I'm putting it in a frame and it's going on my friends wall in his kitchen. I have filtered it slightly as I took the picture on Instagram.

 Trust me, it took me 3 and half hours to colour it!

Two Sisters DT - Embossing

Good morning!

Some exciting news this morning, I'm one of the new DT members over at Two Sisters :D more exciting times ahead!

So, the new challenge to kick the year off is "embossing"

This week we were sponsored by A Random Fan who has given us two super cute images to play with! I have used "Underwear Hero" I've also used the digi image with the dog rather than without.

So, here's my card..

I've coloured him in using Spectrum Noir pens. As for the embossing, I used my stars folder to emboss the square red and blue pieces. The sentiment was printed from the pc.
