Monday Greetings DT - Anything Goes

Good Morning!

Another wet bank holiday morning... niiice!

This week we have a "Anything Goes" challenge over at the OutLawz Monday Greetings - Link is HERE
We are sponsored by Deedee's Digis - Link is HERE
I think my card is very apt for the weather!

I have made a CAS card for this challenge. All the elements used (apart from the circle die cuts) are from the pack Rainy Day - Link is HERE
I coloured the umbrella in red and white so it would stand out against the green clouds. The sentiment is also out the set too. These will definitely be used again.... my Auntie loves ducks!

Hope to see you pop over to the OutLawz :)

I'm also entering this in to the challenge of #66 Splash at CAS on Sunday - Link to blog is HERE

MTTC DT - Flowers

Morning!

Well I am one happy lass... I start a week holiday today! Whoop! Boy do I need it!
I hate playing catch up when you feel you are getting nowhere fast lol

Anyways, a new challenge over at My Time To Craft today - Link is HERE
The challenge is "Flowers". Now, I've gone for something CAS but an occasion I don't really like making cards for but I'm very happy with the outcome. The image is from Make It Crafty and is called Poppies - Link to image is HERE

I wanted to use quite muted tones and am very happy with the result in the greys. The card blank itself is black as I thought the white was too harsh. I used Spectrum Noir pens BG10, BG8 & BG6 to colour the flowers in.

A super quick post from me... I'm off to pack for my holiday!

FBF - Polka Dot Bikini

Afternoon Sassy Fans!

I'm here with another Flash Back Friday creation for you. Images should be in the store for you - Link is HERE

Back to being CAS this week... I didn't think she needed a lot on the card. I found the sentiment online. I thought it was super funny and had to use it! In fact, it may have been off pinterest. This time, I've coloured the image in promarkers. I like the skin but think it's a tad pale but hey ho, she is supposed to be sunbathing to get a tan LOL

Do stop by the Facebook group with your creations and the blog to see what the team have come up with :)

Crafting When We Can - Blog Hop!

We would like to invite you to our Blog Party starting on 30th August 2015.  We will have plenty going on so hop over and have a great time with great inspiration and great prizes!

Here's a sneak peak of mine :)

The OutLawz DT - Burnishing!

Hello there!

Another Monday so another challenge over at Monday Greetings - Link is HERE
This week our challenge is "Burnish part of your card" - I had no idea what this was or how to do it!!
So after a lot of googling, I finally decided on how I was going to burnish my project.
This week we are sponsored by Bugaboo - Link is HERE
And 2 Cute 2 Ink - Link is HERE
I had the opportunity to use Bugaboo's Girls Happy Trio - Link to image HERE

So, the burnished part of my project is the image itself. I went with the technique of colouring the image with pencils and then going over it with a white pencil. This then blended the colours together and gave the image a slight sheen. I used Derwent Coloursoft pencils to colour the image in. The sentiment I made up and printed off the pc. It reads "There is no greater laughter than laughter among friends" very apt for the image! LOL Because I'd used different colours on the image, I wanted the card quite simple so went with a white embossed background, twine and buttons.

I hope you can see the burnishing in the pic on bottom right :)

Be nice to see you all over at the OutLawz - There's lots of challenges to along with!

Kenny K - Delores Dammage

Good Afternoon!
It's the first time for ages that I've joined in with any challenges so I thought I'd join the Kenny K challenge - Link is HERE
The challenge theme is "Anything Goes with a twist" The twist is to use the colour pallet provided which is....

Awesome colours! Here's what I've come up with

I decided to colour the image in with the colours and make the card white. The tartan ribbon I had bowed ready for a christmas card but used it on this card. The linen effect background is an embossing folder and the sentiment is printed off the pc.

I really enjoyed playing along with the challenge! I'm sure I will be back again :)

FBF - Beach Resort Sassy

Afternoon Sassy Fans!

I'm here with another Flash Back Friday creation for you. Images should be in the store for you - Link is HERE

I really had fun with this week's image! Her swimsuit and glasses are shimmered up. She reminds of Pamela Anderson off of Baywatch LOL!

The sentiments are also from SSD out of another set but they work well for this image. the papers I've had for ages.. don't all of us have some papers like that?! So I thought I'd better use them! And I'm glad I did cuz I love this card to be honest. Been a while since I've done such a layered up card.

Do stop by the Facebook group with your creations and the blog to see what the team have come up with :)

I'd also like to enter this in to the following challenges :

1. Crafts 4 Eternity - Summer
1. Chocolate, Coffee & Cards - Use a Sentiment

CF DT - Nikki Burnette

Good Morning!

Another Friday so another challenge over at Creative Fingers - Link is HERE
This challenge we are sponsored by the awesome Nikki Burnette! - Link to Etsy Store HERE
I had the chance to play with the awesome Telsa who is Steampunk - Link to image is HERE

I decided to go with a different colour than I've used before, teal. I do really like the teal and brown together. Would never have really thought about it either. The image itself is coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and I've used 3 different patterned papers, 3 different coloured star buttons, 3 different coloured twines and 3 different coloured card candi. And yes, I know I've used 4 buttons but 2 are the same colour LOL!

I think I shall be using this image again!

I decided to use super bright pink spotty paper to set off the pastel tone of the image. I gave glittered the shoes and suit up too. She's been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens and I also coloured in the "Relax" with the same pens too.

I am also going to enter this into the challenge over at Sweet Stampin' - Fill your boots!

OutLawz Monday Greetings DT - Make me laugh/smile...

Bring me sunshine... all the while... No idea why i have that stuck in my head!
Anyways... Hello!

Today I'm with you for another Monday Greetings challenge - Link is HERE.
This week's challenge we are asking you to make a creation that will make you laugh or smile.
We also have a super sponsor this week which is Scribble's Designs - Link to blog HERE.

I've gone with a CAS card as I wanted the picture quite prominent.

I have the pleasure of using Gumballs Mason Jar - Link to image is HERE.
I've coloured the image with Spectrum Noir pens including shading the jar. The sentiment reads "Candy makes life so sweet!" I thought the greeting was apt. I also added 4 card candi to pull the colours of the jar out on to the white space :)

I hope to see many creations over at the OutLawz! :)

MTTC DT - Easel Card

Good Morning!
I hope everyone is enjoying the dry weather.

I'm back on time with the new challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE
The new challenge is "Easel Cards"

I do love making these!!

The image is from Saturated Canary and I've had her cropped and coloured up for ages! So decided to use her. I think, if I remember, She's been coloured up using promarkers. I do the black and white look with a hint of colour too tho.

It's quite a shallow easel tho as I'd folded the card wrong but hey! It still works! :)

Hope to see you over at the blog :)

FBF - Mermaid Mandy

Afternoon!
Well it is here in the UK :)

So, this week is another Flash Back Friday image and she is just the cutest!
She is the adorable Mermaid Mandy. She reminded me of the Little Mermaid so I coloured her in similar colours but she just HAD to have red hair! :)
Image can be found in the store - Link to store HERE

This is also my very first ever shaker card! I had a lot of fun making it and punching out all those little seahorses. So without further ado, here's my shaker card:

I even used a charm on my card too! I've coloured her in with Spectrum Noir pens and cut round her to raise her away from the card. The sentiment I have printed off the pc. There are also little pearls dotted about on the backing panel which has been embossed. Might be able to see a bit better on the pictures below :)

Be sure to check out what the other DT have done!

OutLawz DT - Use 2 frames

Good Morning!
I hope the sun is shining where you are

This week we have a brand new challenge over at Monday Greetings - Link is HERE
The challenge is

"Use TWO frames on your card"

Now I struggled with this but came up with something. I was also luckily enough to be able to use one of our two sponsors images as well. So, here's what I created...

This little darling is called Lady Bug, hence the greeting - Link for image HERE
And she is from the adorable My Stitch Back In Twine - Link to shop HERE
She's been coloured in Spectrum Noir pens and cut out. The "stripes" along the bottom of the card are washi tape. What a great idea I thought when I seen the idea so decided to try it :)
I added the bow to the frame with a brad and glittered it up. I also wanted to keep the card quite clean and simple with only a couple of colours :)

Have a good week! Happy Crafting :) :)

MTTC DT - Recipe

EEEEEKKK!!!
My post is a week late because nothing I was making I was liking!! Then I came across this little cute bee and hey presto! Job done!
So, the challenge over at MTTC is fortnight - you have a week left now - us a recipe of 1 die-cut, 2 images & 3 flowers - link for blog is HERE
So my die cut is the scallop with the inside, my images are one bee that's been pasted and flipped over so there's now two and my 3 yellow flowers. I added a ribbon too as it looked a little bland :-/
The little bee's are from Melonheadz I think and have been coloured in using Spectrum Noir pens :)
A super quick post from me this week. Next week we will be back with another super challenge so please do stop by the blog :) enjoy!

I've used the lovely Lizabeth Rockabilly - Link is HERE.
I decided to go with a CAS card again as I wanted her quite prominent on the card. She's been coloured using Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Pens. As you can see, I used spotty ribbon, a button and twine - but I use that on most cards too! LOL
