My Time To Craft DT - Fantasy

Good Morning!

An awesome challenge for you over at MTTC this week....

"Fantasy"

Dragons, fairies, wizards, witches... you get the idea.

I've gone for Mistress of Evil by Lacy Sunshine. As soon as I seen her, a lightbulb went off and I brought her.

My friend absolutely LOVES Maleficent and purple so this was perfect for her birthday which is coming up soon. the text in the top right corner is the spell that Maleficent casts on Princess Aurora. The font is also Maleficent font too. The grey panel has been embossed with a damask embossing folder. The image itself has been coloured using promarkers. The ribbon is like false lace effect. Had to get a bit of bling on there too :)

I hope you all enjoy this challenge as much as I did!

Christening...

Good Evening!

Not often do I play along with other blog challenges but beens as I'm ahead of myself with orders, I  thought I'd combine a few challenges to make this super cute christening card.

the image is from Di's Digi's and I LOVE it! It's so super cute. I've coloured the bears in with spectrum noirs. I've printed the greeting off the pc and cut the image out as to make it a bit more dimensional. I've added the gems for extra details. Of course I had to use twine, but no button for a change. I've also used a hint of pink too.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

1 - Crafty Creations - White plus One

3 - In The Pink - Cute

Thanks for popping by

My Time To Craft DT - Lace

Another Saturday... Another challenge over at MTTC.
This weeks challenge is

"Lace"
So use any kind of lace on your creations.

I struggles with this. One - because I couldn't find any inspiration, Two - because I had the smallest piece of lace in my stash ever!! I think I've pulled it off though...

A CAS card from me this week.. in all fairness, what could I do with that tiny piece of lace?! LOL
I've used a Tiddly Inks image called Sweet Tooth which can be found HERE and coloured her with spectrum noirs. I also coloured the gems in with the noir pens, they were silver. They don't take long to dry either to be fair. I did originally decide to make an ATC but thougth it would work quite well on this card. Gave me an excuse to use my wooden words too!

Will be interesting seeing all your lace creations. Enjoy :)

Crafting When We Can DT - Stitching

Good Morning!
I hope it's not too wet and windy where you are in the UK.

Another fab challenge over at CWWC this fortnight, which is

Stitching - Real or Faux

We are sponsored for this challenge by Oddball Art Co. They have a store on Etsy which can be found HERE. I've been given the image of Starlynn Queen to use and this is what I've come up with

I've coloured using spectrum noir pens and used nesties to cut her out on the circle. I wanted to colour her a little different to I usually do, I usually play safe. Decided to colour the hair a similar shade of pink to the glitter backing paper I've used. I've also gone for Faux stitiching around the backing paper. Added some washi tape and twine.

I hope you can stop by and play along!

My Time To Craft DT - Oriental

Good Morning!
Hope everyone is well in crafty world :)

Straight in to today's post from me.. This week over at MTTC the challenge is

"Oriental"

Brilliant challenge theme! I do love oriental but never seem to make many cards on this theme although I have lots of oriental images and papers. So this week I got to play with some old(ish) stash. The image is new though... loving the Lacy Sunshine images atm...

The image I've used is Emily's Kimono which can be found HERE.I've coloured her using a mix of promarkers, copics and spectrum noir pens. Sentiment has been printed off the pc. I had to add a button and twine! I've not added any to a card for a while. Added the flowers and pearl for a bit more detail.

Happy with the look of the card.. have been wanting to use those papers for a while!
Hope you can come play along :)

My Time To Craft DT - Bunting or Banners

Hello everyone!

Hope the cold weather is not keeping you in doors so you just have to craft ;)
I've had a week off work so of course I had to get on to the crafting space.

So, on to this weeks challenge at MTTC, which is

"bunting or banners"

Brilliant! I've been waiting to use my new die, so I've used it on my cousin's birthday card along with the new digi from Tiddly Inks which is AMAZING!!

I couldn't decide what to colour her in with so I used promarkers, copics and spectrum noirs. I must have been having an indecisive day LOL. The image as I said before is new from Tiddly Inks, she's called "Sweet Tooth" and can be found HERE. I downloaded the papers from an Etsy store. Perfect for the colours I wanted to use. The bunting is a new die I've had for a couple of months but never used. The "30" is also die cut too and of course, a few pearls to finish off. I'm very happy with the results. Here's a few more pics:

I hope you enjoy the challenge :)

Crafting When We Can DT - Favourite Quote/saying

Morning!
Hope the snow is keeping at bay for everyone :)

this fortnight over at CWWC we are sponsored by Art By MiRan
I do love her images. So, along with being sponsored by Art By MiRan, the challenge for this fortnight is

"Favourite Quote or Saying"

One of my favourite sayings is "Dance! Like no-one's watching..." This is what I've used on my card.
The image is Pretty Molly which can be found HERE.

The papers are a digital download from Etsy. I cut round the image so I could emboss the back panel. Added the glitter panel to pick um on the red of the dress. I was going to add pink flowers to enhance the flowers on the dress but thought it looked too much. Of course I added some pearls and a ribbon bow tied with twine and a button. Here's a few more images:

Be interesting to see what everyone's favourite sayings are!

Something New

Good Morning..  Hope you all had a great christmas & fab new year too.  We are finally back with a new challenge over at My Time ...
