MTTC DT - One Layer

Well... I've no idea where my posts have been going!

Anywhos, a new challenge at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE
This fortnight our challenge is

"One Layer"

I've used an awesome image from Make It Crafty - Link to store is HERE
To make my card are cropped the image on the pc and printed it straight out on to card.

She's been mainly coloured in using promarkers apart from her hair where I added copics to add some definition. I am really happy with how this turned out!
My first ever one layer card. I will be trying this again.
The image I have used is called Felicity - Link is HERE

Thanks for popping by :)

Navy, Pink & Cake

Good Morning!

Hope you are all well and not too cold.
It's currently -2 here in the middle of the UK!

Anyways, I'm here today to show you a card I've made for my cousin's birthday.
I am going to add her age but I couldn't remember how old she is! Ooops!
Turns out she's 13.....

So, here's the card:

The colour scheme and layout have come from the inspiration pic and layout on Fusion Card - Link is HERE
And the image is from Tiddly Inks. She is called "Cute as a Cupcake Girl" - Link is HERE
I can not remember the last time I used my Spectrum Noir pens but I did on this. I had forgotten how good they are!
The spotted and chrevon papers are a digital download from etsy.
Think I will die cut "13" out in pink and add it to lopsided spotty paper.

I'd like to enter this card in to the following challenges:

Thanks for popping by! :)

I've picked 5 swinging Monkeys which is perfect for my nephew's 1st birthday as his theme is jungle animals - Link to bundle is HERE

I decided to go with a CAS look and cut out the monkeys so I could 3D them in the circles.
The circles have been punched out of the card and layered onto Giraffe design paper.
I am going to add his name to it in the giraffe papers too once I can get my machine out to cut them out lol.

I do love these little cuties!
I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:

I went quite CAS with this card as I wanted her to stand out. The silver strips down the side is actually glitter sellotape form IKEA. A great use for it I thought :)
The image has been coloured using promarkers.

Super quick post from me.
Pop on by the blog too :)

SSD Progressive Challenge - Valentine Honey

Good Evening!

I'm here to show you the card I made for the Sassy Studio Design Progressive Challenge which we host on Facebook - Link is HERE

The image for the Progressive Challenge this month is "Valentine Honey" - Link is HERE
Alternatively, you can request the image via the Facebook group.

She is such a Sassy Lady!
I went with a black and white theme with a hint of red. I HAD to colour her hair in red!!
I also had to use my red scrabble tiles on this card just for something a little different with the greeting. Both the hearts are punched out of glitter card with a gem added to the large black heart for extra detail. The bikini she is wearing is also glittery. I used a Sakura black glitter gel pen on her.

I had fun making this card!

I'd also like to enter this into the following challenges:

1. Cupcake Inspiration - challenge #347

2. Make My Monday - Love

3. The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog - All you need is cutie love

Thanks for popping by!

MTTC DT - Check It out!

Morning!
A brand new challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE

This time we have the challenge of "Check it Out!"

I do love using check paper :)

I used an image that I've had coloured up for ages! It's from Saturated Canary and is called Violet Vintage - Link is HERE
She has been coloured using Promarkers on white linen cardstock. I wanted to go with vintage looking colours, luckily when I came to add this image to a card that I had checked paper to match! Always a bonus! :) :)
The back layer is kraft card that's been embossed using a linen card. Added think blue ribbon and bow using an orange brad. The flower in the bottom right corner is a brown paper punched out lots of times with a brad in the middle. Just ruffle it up and you have your own flower.

I hope you have as much fun with the challenge that we have!

CWWC DT - Hearts

Good Morning!

We have a brand new challenge over at Crafting When We Can today - Link is HERE
The challenge  for this fortnight is

"Hearts"

We want to see Hearts on your projects. Perfect for just before valentine's :)
For this challenge we are sponsored by the awesome Sami Stamps - Link is HERE

I got to use the awesome image of Wild Flower Beauty - Link is HERE
I went with a CAS card as the image is so beautiful.

She has been coloured using promarkers with copics on the hair to add some depth too. The background is embossed swirls and the hearts have been punched out. Added a bit of bling but no sentiment as I wanted the image to be prominent.

I hope you enjoy the challenge as much as we did!
PLEASE remember to follow the rules too!
Have fun :)

CF DT - Rick St Dennis

Good Morning

Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Creative Fingers - Link is HERE
As always, the theme is anything goes and this week we are sponsored by Rick St Dennis.
Etsy Store - Link is HERE
I have used the brilliant Bal Masque

I wanted to go with a very CAS look with a striking sentiment on this card along with minimal colour. Colours I opted for are grey, red and brown for the hair. Added the bow and the gems around the sentiment.

Really enjoyed making this card. See you over at the blog! :)
