MTTC DT - Sympathy

Good Morning! 

A brand new challenge over at MTTC this week which is "Sympathy". 

I never really make any sympathy cards so this was a challenge for me. I decided before I started that I wanted to make the card quite CAS. 

The card is from Ikea and is 10x15cm in size. The grey dots are on the card already. I printed the "with sympathy" off the pc on to vellum and stuck it to the fancy oval frame. The flowers and pearls were added afterwards as the card was too plain.

FBF - Vivien Gear Frame

Hello! 

A super quick post from me today with this weeks FBF image which is Vivien Gear Frame from Sassy Studio Designs. 

Another steampunk image... EEEEEKKK!! But I must say, I really enjoyed working with this weeks image. I did manage to get a cogs embossing folder off a friend and a super cute pocket watch die which I loooooove! So, here's what I've come up with...

Told you the pocket watch die is super cute! She's been coloured using spectrum noir's, copics and promarkers. I've added brads to the inside of the cogs and also added twine and buttons to the panel on the right. The green background has been embossed using the cogs folder. 

That's it from me... If I get chance later tonight, I'll add a few more pics :) 

CF DT - Anything Goes

Good Morning! 

I have a confession to make.... I completely forgot to add my card in to the DT and do my post, so I'm jumping in on Team A's week :) 

As always, the Creative Fingers challenge is "Anything Goes" so here's what I've got...

I must admit.. I do love this card with the layered up digi images from Just InkLined. The two images I've used are Fashion Shoe and Wedding Purse. I've used the Fashion Shoe digi twice so I had a pair of shoes instead of just one. The images have been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. The spotty paper is out of my stash along with the ribbon and pearls.

MTTC DT - New Baby

Good Morning! 

A super cute challenge over at MTTC this week... New Baby! 

Gave me chance to print off my baby meople digis.. 

Typical baby boy card.. lots of blue and cuteness. The backing paper is chevrons and the white is embossed with a swiss dots embossing folder. Circles are die-cut and the image has been cut out too.

The image I've used is from the Meoples range from C.C Designs but you can longer get them is digi format :(

Progressive Challenge - Steampunk

Good Afternoon.. 

This month I am joining the Facebook for team for the Progressive Challenge.

You can join in with the challenge over at the Sassy Studio Designs Fan Page which is HERE.

So, as the title says the challenge is Steampunk.....eeeeeeekkkkkk!!! 

I struggle so bad with Steampunk so this is definitely a challenge for me too. The image we have to use is Josephine Steampunk Frame. Here's what I came up with...

I have coloured her with a mix of Spectrum Noirs, Promarkers and Tombow pens. The paper is out my stash along with the ribbon and brad. I wanted to replicate the cogs off the image but I don't have any dies so I used a circle and scallop punch instead to add a bit of cog like detail. 

I think I'd like to revisit this in a couple of weeks and re-do to see if I've improved. May have to look for some cogs too lol.
