My Time To Craft DT - Beary Nice

Good Morning!
It's actually sunny!! Get the sunglasses out!

I seem to have sorted the gremlins in my computer so I should be up to date with everything now.

So, this weeks challenge over at My Time To Craft is

"Beary Nice"

Here's what I've got

This week has been mental! But, I have managed to craft a little and made a card for my uncle's birthday using one of his daughter's digi images.

His such a cute little chap! His name is Benji and he can be found HERE (credits, Sarah Cane).  He does come plain but I wanted to jazz him up a little so I have attatched a little bow-tie die-cut to him. Benji has also been coloured using copics in light greys. The paper is from the Papermania capsule collection, spots and stripes. And of course, twine! I do love twine and ribbon lol.

Please come play along! Off to get the boy up..

My Time To Craft Dt - Charming...

Morning peeps!

A little late posting this today. I thought I had typed up the post and had it scheduled... clearly not!

So, on to the new challenge over at My Time To Craft. This week it's

"Charming"

So add a charm. Whether its hanging by twine/ribbon or its stuck down with glue.
I love chrams but I do struggle with how to incorperate them in to my cards.

Here's what I've got:

The same as last week, I've used a Some Odd Girl, called Rainy Mae. I wanted a different colour scheme with this card. I'd got the sentiment printed already so wanted to use a colour scheme around this, so the blue represents the "Rainy Days" bit with the yellow representing the "Sunny Rays" bit. I then coloured the image to match with Spectrum Noirs. The part for the charm, I punched out nearly a circle from white card and embossed it. I wanted to emphasize the little umbrella charm hanging from the twine. And to finish off, a few die cut clouds and some pearls.

I still need to make these Morther's day cards! These are definitely next on my list.
Feel free to pop my the blog and play along.

My Time To Craft DT - Frame It!

Good Morning!

First post for me for a few weeks over at MTTC. With blogger/pc playing up and not being well, I didn't have a card for last weeks challenge but I'm back this week!

Over at My Time To Craft, we have the challenge of "Frame It!" and boy did I struggle with this!
I knew what I wanted to do but just couldn't get the end result, so I decided to try something else.

Here's what I got:

I do love these cute little lasses from Some Odd Girl. I think this one is called "Heartsy Mae".
I wanted a non-traditional looking lass hence the blue hair! LOL. I rarely use pink and blue together but it worked so it's all good. Mae is coloured by using Spectrum Noirs. And yano me, of course some twine snuck on my card! The frame is cut from the Spellbinders Nesties. I added some pearls and flowers to make the card a little more girly as I used my brick embossing panel for the background. Senitment is computer generated.

I do hope you can come play along. I'm off to hunt for ideas for Mother's Day cards.
I have 3 to do..... eeeek!

Two Sisters DT - Black, White + One Colour

I this precise moment, I can actually say that I hate my PC and/or blogger!!
Somewhere, one of them is playing silly beggars!

Anyways, again this post should have be posted on Saturday 1st March and again it's taken me aggggggesss to get onto blogger.. but without further ado, and a little late than never, we have our second monthly challenge over at Two Sisters

This month we have been sponsored by the lovely Scribbles Designs with the challenge being

Black, White plus One Other Colour.

I've opted for green as my extra colour. So, here's my card:

A Clean and Simple card from me. I wanted the image to really draw the eye in. Of course, me being me, I HAD to use some twine! I did add a little bit of shading to the cute little sheep using Spectrum Noirs as well.

Hopefully, I shall be back around the 15th to post my showcase card... this is if blogger will let me!!
If it doesn't, plain and simple, I'm going to cry, lol!

Had a good weekend!
