My Time To Craft DT - Frame It!

Good Morning!

First post for me for a few weeks over at MTTC. With blogger/pc playing up and not being well, I didn't have a card for last weeks challenge but I'm back this week!

Over at My Time To Craft, we have the challenge of "Frame It!" and boy did I struggle with this!
I knew what I wanted to do but just couldn't get the end result, so I decided to try something else.

Here's what I got:

I do love these cute little lasses from Some Odd Girl. I think this one is called "Heartsy Mae".
I wanted a non-traditional looking lass hence the blue hair! LOL. I rarely use pink and blue together but it worked so it's all good. Mae is coloured by using Spectrum Noirs. And yano me, of course some twine snuck on my card! The frame is cut from the Spellbinders Nesties. I added some pearls and flowers to make the card a little more girly as I used my brick embossing panel for the background. Senitment is computer generated.

I do hope you can come play along. I'm off to hunt for ideas for Mother's Day cards.
I have 3 to do..... eeeek!

  6. I'm not sure what your were originally going for but what you ended up with is fabulous! Love the image extending beyond the frame. LOVE the pink and blue together and really love the blue hair (I haven't been brave enough to try that yet - but you've inspired me). Hugs D
