My Time To Craft DT - Make A Scene

Wow... Am I having problems with blogger again..

Hence the post being super late! 

Over at MTTC this week, our challenge is "Make A Scene" 

This has been made using die-cuts. I love this die. So many ways to use it. I've added a hint of colour too as to not make it completely white. The snowflakes have been punched out too. Twine, button & pearls to finish :)

Crafting When We Can DT - Party!

 Good Morning! 

I hope the weather where you are is better than here in the UK. It's dry but really cold. No snow yet either :( 

Loved seeing all the CAS creations from the last challenge over at CWWC, but we have a new challenge starting now. We are sponsored this challenge by Kenny K. They have some lovely images. 

This fortnights challenge is "PARTY!!!" 

So this is what I've come up with 

 I've used an 8x8 stepper card for this 21st birthday card. The image is Madison Attitude which can be found HERE. She's been coloured with promarkers and I've added various embellishments to jazz up the card. 

Can't wait to see all the different creations you come up with!

My Time To Craft DT - ATC

Good Morning! 

I have no idea what happened with last weeks post.. it's just disappeared! 

Some great Snowman creations as well. 

This weeks challenge over at MTTC is "ATC"

An ATC is 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches for anyone that doesn't know. 

This is what I've come up with....

I've used glitter snowf;ake papers,wood greeting and die cut snowflakes. I HAD to add some bling too :) 

More than likely, I'll put this on a card with the same background and use this as a focal point. 

I did struggle with this a lilly but I'm happy with the outcome.

Hope everyone is okay and the weather isn't too bad where you are. It's pretty dull and wet where I am. We just haven't had any snow yet...

The image has been coloured using promarkers. I may add some glitter to it as well. I'll update the post if I do :) I've used a snowflake embossing folder for the background and added some red gems to contrast with the green layering and the green ribbon.

My Time To Craft DT - Time & Space

Good Morning! 

Hope everyone is well on this dull morning.. I'm back this week. I really struggled with the decoupoage challenge from last week at MTTC. You know when you try so many different images and nothing looks right?! I had that. Then admitted defeat :( 

But, this weeks challenge isn't a struggle, for me anyways :) 

"Time & Space" is our new challenge. 

You can think outside the box with this one. The possibilities are endless.

I've gone with Space & even made a christmas card! 

This super cute guy is from Digi Stamp Boutique, he can be found HERE. The sentiment comes with the digi too. I've coloured him using promarkers. I couldn't decide whether to glitter up his christmas hat, so I didn't but no doubt I will end up doing so! LOL 

I think I will be using him a lot this year for my christmas cards.

Crafting When We Can DT - Use Your Makers

Morning! 

Was great to see how people interpreted last weeks black and white theme. I was undecided when I did my image but glad I went with the grey scale image too. 

Anyhows, on to this fortnights challenge....

"Use your markers" 

For this challenge we are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs and we want to see you use your markers. This could be promarkers, copics, sharpie's, spectrum noir's.... etc. 

I used promarkers for my image. I tend to mix with Spectrum Noir's and Promarkers. I like how both work but I'm always undecided as to what to use! I'm clearly no good at making decisions! 

I used the image Dark Fairy Sassy which can be found HERE. 

These are the list of Promarkers I've used: 

Skin: Dusky Pink, Blush & Ivory - Pastel Pink for the cheeks.

Hair: Henna, Cocoa & Cinnamon

Bodice & Tights: Cool Grey 5, Cool Grey 4 & Ice Grey 5

Boots, Lips, Gloves: Burgandy, Ruby & Poppy Red

Skirt: Shale, Purple & Orchid

The sentiment I had with a digi image from Simply Betty Stamps. Fits quite well tho :) 

 A CAS card from me.. I had to re-do it. As I went to take my picture, I knocked my tea over and it went all over this card and my Mom's birthday card. Not a happy bunny!

My Time To craft DT - Farm Yard Animals

Morning! 

Now I'm hoping there are no hiccups with the blog post going live as for the first time in about 4 years, I'm having to work a saturday!! Wow. I don't work Saturday as I work every Sunday.  My choice, I find Sunday's boring lol. 

Anyways, our new challenge over at MTTC is 

Farm Yard Animals

Here's what I've got: 

I went for sheep! They are coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. Of course I had some twine and a button! I printed the greeting off the pc. A CAS card but I wnated the image quite predominant.

My Time To Craft DT - Charmed

Morning! 

A whole weekend off from work this weekend... eeeek! 

That only calls for one thing, lots of crafting! YAY! 

We have a new challenge over at MTTC this week, which is 

"Charmed" 

So use a charm on your card. I must admit, I struggle with these as I never know how to use a charm (as funny as it sounds) 

I wanted to keep the card quite clean and not knowing what the colour scheme was, I wanted to keep it neutral so went with all white. You can't really go wrong with all white can you. No buttons from me on this card but I did sneak the twine in. The flowers in the top right corner are die cuts along with the swirls. The image is from Tiddly Inks. The white cardstock is backed onto silver shimmer card too.

My Time To Craft DT - Hobbies

Morning! 

Knee deep in wedding stationery this morning, so I'm going to be super quick..

New challenge over at MTTC this week...

"Hobbies" 

Now, this card I made for a girl, she loves music and she loves to sing. If you ask her what she likes to do, she says her hobby is singing, perfect! I did think slightly out the box there. Here is the card...

The music paper is a download from a store on etsy. It's amazing!! The image is by All Dressed Up. These images are super cute and perfect for any occassion. The music notes are die-cuts along with the numbers. Had to get a bow in there too with a button! (I think it's my signature thang! LOL) I think I used spectrum noirs to colour her in. Again, sentiment was printed off the computer. 

Good look with the challenge. Think outside the box ;) 

My Time To Craft DT - Tag It!

Good Morning! 

I hope it's dried up in your part of the world. I love autumn but hate the rain! 

Bit of a calmer weekend this weekend for me. Birthday celebrations are well and truly over but I do still have cake left! 

Anyways, this weeks challenge over at MTTC is 

Tag It!

(make a tag that's not attached to a card)

I struggled with this! I made xmas tags last year but I had no inspiration at all until I looked at some of the xmas images I'd coloured, then bingo! 

 

Here's what I've got... It's not your conventional tag mind...

The boot is a digi from Just Inklined. I do love their images. I've glittered up fur and the buckle. Well if you've got bubbles in a bottle, it'd be rude not to glitter up the boot! The white card has been embossed as well. And of course..... order is restored!! The button and twine are back!! Sentiment printed off the computer.

Crafting When We Can DT - Name it!

Well, I thought I'd got rid of the gremlins, but clearly not! So my post is late, but late then never as the saying goes....

I read a lot and usually have different books on the go plus a bookm on my kindle and I'm forever suing bits of paper for a bookmark so I've made myself a bookmark! The name on it, is mine :) 

I've made it very simple purely because of putting it inside books, sometimes they can make indentations on the pages. She has been coloured using promarkers. I wanted to colour her claret and blue, but red and blue is near as damn it and there was no way I was colouring her pink! Added a brad and some ribbon and a few pearls, and of course the die cut of my name :) 

So sorry its a late post. Hopefully, the gremlins are gone and it's back to normal service! Have fun 

My Time To Craft DT - Santa

Hello everyone!

Had gremlins in the system. Hopefully all fixed now though :)

Straight into it today for me.. have a weekend full of celebrations as it's my birthday on Sunday.. I'm going to be 30! EEEEKKK!!! Exciting! 

So, the challenge over at MTTC this week is Santa. 

I love a Santa card. I made this card for my dad off my mom. 

His coloured with promarkers and is from Make It Crafty. His a bit of a cheeky, cheery Santa. Didn't want to go OTT with this card either. The spots are a bit overpowering lol. No twine or buttons either.. think I was having one of those days!

My Time To Craft DT - Fantasy

Good Morning!

Awesome challenge over at MTTC this week... Fantasy! 

Anything from fairies, wizards, dragons, witches, monsters... or maybe even thinking outside the box...

Anyways, I've opted for Dragons!  

Has nothing to do with reading all the "How To Train Your Dragon" books and watching the films and the first two series, over and over again... I think I know the first film word for word!

 Made this for my Auntie's Birthday. She loves dragons. It was off my Dad & Mom for her. She also loves purple and pink so it fitted in quite well. The "you can never have too much cake" was printed off the pc. 

Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with!

Good Morning! 

A lilly late from me. In my haste of rushing out the door, I forgot to publish my post.

Now I don't usually do halloween but I did have this digi stamp from Make It Crafty. 

After colouring her in, I now love her! I wanted to keep the card CAS and make the image the main focal point but with the emphasis on the "Be Spooky" sentiment that I've added googley eyes too. The sentiment was printed off the computer.

My Time To Craft DT - Teddy Bears Picnic

Good Morning! 

Bit of a busy weekend here, the boy's birthday on Monday and I still haven't made his card! EEEEKKKKK!! Best get a wiggle on! So a quick post from me today. 

The new challenge over at MTTC this fortnight is

Use a teddy bear on your creation. This must be an image and not papers. 

 I've used Benji bear from Daisy's Digi's. He can be found HERE. I wanted to make him a lilly different so added the bow tie, which is a die cut and a tiny little button. He's been coloured with Spectrum Noirs. The card sort of has a seaside feel... I think that's the stripey paper. Reminds me of deckchairs! LOL

My Time To Craft DT Post - Food/Drink

Good Morning!

Boy did I struggle with this! Here's what I came up with

Luckily, right at the last minute, I'm talking last night! My mate text and said "I need a card for my mate, she loves beer" I thought "Great! fits in with the challenge, but how do I make beer feminine?!" 

I think I've pulled it off. It's amazing what a bow can do! They both loved it so I'm happy with that. 

Super quick post from me this morning, off to find wedding stuff for my best mate. Invites are all done. Now it's just everything else lol.

Tiddly Inks.... Dog Days

Good Evening, hope everyone is indoors crafting and not out in that wind!

 This evenings post is for a DT call over at Tiddly Inks.

I love a cute lilly Tiddy Inks image specially when it's a doggy!

The image I've used is called Dog Days and you can find it HERE.

So, I wanted something a lilly different but still super cute. Here's what I came up with.. 

It's an A5 card with two cut out circles, two dogs and lots of bling! They did take a while to stick down but it was worth it. And the lilly girl it was for absolutely loved it. She's put it in a frame and up on her wall. Bless. The dogs and bone I cut round and 3D'd them so they were level with the white linen card. Every card I do, I have to add at least a button and/or ribbon or twine. I think it's a signature thing! lol.

My Time To Craft DT - Hair

Ooops! It would help if you schedule a post for the right date wouldn't it?! 

For some reason, I'd scheduled it for the 11th, Monday. I have no idea clearly! 

So onto this fortnights challenge at My Time To Craft, the challenge is 

"Hair" 

Hair coloured in none traditional colours....blue, green, pink etc...

I've gone with blue on an awesome mermaid from SBS, which you can find HERE. 

 I went with a spotty theme I think. The light blue is embossed card and then the use of spotty papers. Of course there had to be some ribbon, twine and a bow on it. I think that's my signature thing so you know it's a card made by me lol. The pearls I added so they looked like bubbles. It works I think. The sentiment comes with the digital image.

My Time To Craft DT - Use Kraft

What a lovely day here, Good Mornign to you all. 

One of my favourite types of card use on your creations this week over at My Time To Craft

"Use Kraft" 

You can colour on it or mat & layer with it....as long as it can be seen!

The only thing I didn't do was colour on it. I LOVE using kraft card! 

 As I was using kraft card, I decided to use brown tones on the whole card. The image is from Crafts and Me and I've coloured her using Spectrum Noir pens TN9, TN8, TN7, TN6, TN5, TN4, TN3, TN2 & TN1. The background is my new embossing folder, which I love! it's awesome! I've added quite a few embellsihments on this card which is something a lilly different from me. 

Can't wait to see what creations are made up!
