Ready for Summer....

... well, WOW! Snow in Feb?! What lovely British weather we have! 

So after getting soaked at the football yesterday (my team actually WON! wahay!) I decided to make a bright card. Summer Kaylee had been pre-coloured, using pro-markers, all I had to do was make the card, so lime green and orange it was! The layout for the card is from the current Some Odd Girl Sketch - found here. 

So, here is what I came up with:

 I do love these images and the sketch, I'm about to use it again on another SOG card I've got to make. The black border is hand-drawn on as well :)

I don't "do" Valentine's if I'm honest, but I did get asked to make a card for it.

The image is from Some Odd Girl. I do love these images! Perfect for every occasion. The criteria for the card was "Black & Red, a couple on the front, the sentiment and roses". think I've managed to tick every box.

Favourite Embellishment....

This is a tricky one... after much deliberation... It would be safe to say that bows are my favourite embellishment. I'm sure I put a bow on pretty much everything! Apart from mens cards of course.

Crafts and Me challenge this week is... yep, you guessed it... Favourite Embesllishment.

Could possibly say that pearls/gems are also a fave embellishment. Go through packs of them! 

The image I have used is called "April" She's been coloured with promarkers. I think the layout is from a past sketch challenge, not sure where from tho!

Shoes!!

Wow! I was top 5 in the Fab 'n' Funky challenge last week :D Thank You so much! 

This week's Fab 'n' Funky challenge is... SHOES.

So this is what I've come up with...

Aston Villa Baby Shoes!

These are for a baby's christening. The parents are big Villa fans (for all our sins mind!) So rather than doing white with a hint of blue shoes, I decieded to do these. They are completely made out of card, using peel offs and brads. They're quite easy to do, just a bit hard manipulating the bottoms to sit flush to the sole. The back of the box does have info on as well.

Miss Anya

Final post for this evening. I really do need to make some fairies! (I keep putting it off) 

Thought I'd go with something different. Every card I seem to make, it involves the colour black. As it is, I've ran out of black card so I have no choice! lol...

Onto the card. A Miss Anya image for this one, with some glittery backing paper.
