Baby Shower

Good Morning
Hope you're ready for a new challenge over at My Time To Craft
 - Link is HERE
This fortnights challenge is "Die cuts only"
Get the use out of those dies!
I've used a onesie die that I think is from The Greeting Farm.
I must say, I do love this die. The possibilities are endless with it.
The card itself needed to me neutral hence the mint green, lemon, white and grey.
The card blank itself is also embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder.

Hope you enjoy the challenge
jo 😎

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenge -

CAS on Friday - Dies

Good Morning!

Time for a brand new challenge over at Crafting When We Can - Link is HERE
This fortnights challenge is one of my faves.... CAS!

Clean And Simple

We are sponsored once more by Doodle Digistamps - Link is HERE
I've been lucky enough to use the image Bea and Tea - Link is HERE
This time round, I've just used one of the girls.
  Here's my CAS card:

I have cut her out, coloured her with Spectrum Noir pens, added wooden "happy" wording and added a few pearls.
CAS is lot's of blank space.
I did write down the colours I used but I think I've binned it!

A super short post from me today.
Enjoy the challenge

One For the Girls

Good Morning!
Welcome to a new challenge over at Crafting When We Can - Link is HERE

This fortnights challenge is

"One For The Girls"

We have a super awesome sponsor for this challenge,  Doodle Digistamps - Link is HERE
I've been lucky enough to use the image Bea and Tea - Link is HERE
Rather than using the images on one card, I decided to make two!
Here's what I've come up with....

I went with a CAS look for these cards as I love the images, I wanted them to stand out more.
I think I've achieved that!

Both girls have been coloured in using Spectrum Noir Pens.
I am going to post the colours used as sometimes trying to the find the right combinations is hard!
The Sentiments are both printed onto the cardstock as well.
I've added the die-cut borders to the tops and stickles and pearls for extra details.

Here's a better look at the cards with the pen combos underneath...

Skin : FS3, FS1, FS2 | Hair : GB7, EB3, OR2, OR1
Hat & Dress Blue : TB9, TB8, TB4 | Bow & Dress White : BGR3, BGR2, BGR1.

 Skin : FS3, FS1, FS2 | Hair : EB2, EB1, TN1
Glasses & Pants : DR7, DR6, DR5 | Top : IB3, IB2, IB1.

There we have it... Two cute little CAS cards.
We hope you enjoy the challenge... PLEASE REMEMBER TO FOLLOW THE RULES!

Enjoy...
jo 😎

I wish to enter these in to the following challenge:

1) Addicted to Stamps  - Not a square card

Good Morning!

Another Saturday and time for another challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE
This fortnight's challenge is a sketch! By meeeee..... :)
 Here's the sketch:

I've rotated mine to add an extra way of interpretting the sketch.
Here's what I've made :

I have used an image by Jade Dragonne called Headphones and it’s been coloured in using Sharpie pens and a white gel pen.
I’ve added extra detail to the card by using pearls and a wooden word which reads crazy.

Remember to follow the rules and enjoy the challenge.
We look forward to seeing your creations.

Crafts & Me - Creative Fingers DT

Good Morning!

This is going to be a super quick post from me, lots to do.
The list IS getting smaller! YAY!!

We have a new challenge over at Creative Fingers - Link is HERE
As always the theme is "Anything Goes"
And we are sponsored by Crafts & Me and Wink Wink Ink.

I've used a Hannah Lynn image - Butterflies of Hope for my image.
You can find the image HERE

The image is printed on to kraft card and coloured using Marco Rafine Pencils.
First go using these, I'm impressed! First time colouring on kraft too! eeeek!
The 3D  butterflies are punched out and layered to make them 3D.

Pretty short and pretty sweet post!
 Thanks for popping by!
Enjoy :)

I'm also playing along with the following challenges :

MTTC - Sketch

Good Morning!
Another Saturday and time for another challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE
This fortnight's challenge is a sketch! By meeeee..... :)

Here's what I'm come up with...
I used a Faery Ink girl on this card ;)

She has been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens in greens and pinks.
Originally, her hair was going to be green but I changed my mind. I like the pink.
The "awesome" is wooden wording.
Added the pearls & ribbon for a finishing touch :)

Hope you enjoy the sketch!
 jo ;)

DTBS - Make it Fly

Hi Sassy Fans!

I hope you are all well.
I'm back on the Dare To Be Sassy team for this month - Link is HERE
So the challenge for this week is

"Make it Fly "

I've used Virgo - Link is HERE
But I've given her a frosty kind of look :)

Decided to make her in to a christmas card. I think she's very versatile! The spotty card is one half of a card from Ikea - I love them!! And the snowflakes are die-cut. I just had to get a button and some twine on there too ;) The image itself is coloured using promarkers. Added a few pearls for an extra touch too.

Hope to see your awesome creations on the blog!

MTTC DT - Owls

Good Morning!

Today we have a brand new challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE
This fortnights challenge is

"Owls"

Perfect as I had a thank you card to make with owls on it!

The image I've had for ages and it's a Whiff Of Joy image which is perfect for a thank you card. An act of Kindness, although I'd probably be the one at the bottom of the tree on my bum! hahaha
The image itself has been coloured using Promarkers. I wanted to add a slight background too so did the dots lol

Do pop by the blog to show us your owl creations :)

Creative Fingers DT - Rick St Dennis

Good Morning!

Another anything goes challenge over at Creative Fingers - Link is HERE
This week we are sponsored by the fabulous Rick St Dennis - Link to Etsy Store HERE
I got to play with the delightful image called "Ziegfeld Girl"
She reminded my of art deco so this is what I went with. I also decided on patterned paper and not many layers. Keep it simple.

The swirls on her dress are coloured with a glitter pen to make them stand out a little more. The papers are art deco papers from a Docrafts pack. I managed to make the colours up perfectly too! :)

When my pc decides to do what it's meant too, I'll post a close up pic of the glittered swirls.
Hope to see you all pop by the blog. What's easier than an "anything goes" challenge right?!

The OutLawz DT - Burnishing!

Hello there!

Another Monday so another challenge over at Monday Greetings - Link is HERE
This week our challenge is "Burnish part of your card" - I had no idea what this was or how to do it!!
So after a lot of googling, I finally decided on how I was going to burnish my project.
This week we are sponsored by Bugaboo - Link is HERE
And 2 Cute 2 Ink - Link is HERE
I had the opportunity to use Bugaboo's Girls Happy Trio - Link to image HERE

So, the burnished part of my project is the image itself. I went with the technique of colouring the image with pencils and then going over it with a white pencil. This then blended the colours together and gave the image a slight sheen. I used Derwent Coloursoft pencils to colour the image in. The sentiment I made up and printed off the pc. It reads "There is no greater laughter than laughter among friends" very apt for the image! LOL Because I'd used different colours on the image, I wanted the card quite simple so went with a white embossed background, twine and buttons.

I hope you can see the burnishing in the pic on bottom right :)

Be nice to see you all over at the OutLawz - There's lots of challenges to along with!

MTTC DT - Easel Card

Good Morning!
I hope everyone is enjoying the dry weather.

I'm back on time with the new challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE
The new challenge is "Easel Cards"

I do love making these!!

The image is from Saturated Canary and I've had her cropped and coloured up for ages! So decided to use her. I think, if I remember, She's been coloured up using promarkers. I do the black and white look with a hint of colour too tho.

It's quite a shallow easel tho as I'd folded the card wrong but hey! It still works! :)

Hope to see you over at the blog :)

FBF - Mermaid Mandy

Afternoon!
Well it is here in the UK :)

So, this week is another Flash Back Friday image and she is just the cutest!
She is the adorable Mermaid Mandy. She reminded me of the Little Mermaid so I coloured her in similar colours but she just HAD to have red hair! :)
Image can be found in the store - Link to store HERE

This is also my very first ever shaker card! I had a lot of fun making it and punching out all those little seahorses. So without further ado, here's my shaker card:

I even used a charm on my card too! I've coloured her in with Spectrum Noir pens and cut round her to raise her away from the card. The sentiment I have printed off the pc. There are also little pearls dotted about on the backing panel which has been embossed. Might be able to see a bit better on the pictures below :)

Be sure to check out what the other DT have done!

Sassy Studio Designs - Sponsorship

Morning Sassy Fans!
Another sponsors post from me today :)
This one is for The Outlawz and the challenge is "Twisted Easel" - Link is HERE.
I think I've found a new favourite SSD image, Sugar Skull Portrait!!! - Image link is HERE.

You can't see on the pic but the navy backing card is embossed. The red flowers, leaves and silver swirl are all die cuts. I added the pearls to the middle of the flowers to add some extra detail... or to cover the glue! LOL The image itself has been coloured with copics and promarkers. Had to add a bow as it looked  too plain. I also wanted to keep the colour scheme down to just a few colours.

Really enjoyed making this twisted easel card. Hadn't made one for ages!
I hope you join in too :)

MTTC DT - All White

Morning!

Another Saturday can only mean another challenge over at My Time To Craft
This weeks challenge is "All White Except The Image".
I do like making white on white cards and went with a Tiddly Inks image for this one. Image is Wryn BFF - link is HERE.

The image has been coloured using promarkers and Copics. Mixing it up again ;)
I wanted a CAS style card as to show off the image more. The backing is chevron embossed with the ribbon wrapped around it. I attached the bow with a brad too. The sentiment is printed off the pc and it reads "Our friendship is like a cup of tea, a special blend of you and me" No doubt my friend with nabb this! lol

That's it from me this week... going to try and find something to do beens there's no football on :'(
hehehe...

Creative Fingers DT - Anything Goes

Goooood Morning!

Hope everyone is well and ready to play along over at Creative Fingers in the new "Anything Goes" challenge??

This week's sponsors are Di's Digis and Zuri Artsy Craftsy

I've used a Di's Digi's image I've had for a while. I do love this image..

Made this for an order for a christening day. Pleased to say, the lady was thrilled with the card! Yay!
The image itself is coloured using a mixture of promarkers and spectrum noirs. the wording was printed on to white card which in turn has been layered away from the base card. The pink scallop edge along the top I hand cut with scallop scissors. Added the twine, button and pearls for extra detail.

Hope to see you over at the blog!

CF - Anything Goes

Good Morning!

I've jumped in on another week over at Creative Fingers. This weeks sponsor is Lemon Shortbread. I've been lucky enough to use the image Winter Cardigan which can be found HERE.

Went with a CAS look this week and a simple sentiment of "Baby it's cold outside" and only used 3 colours. The image was coloured with Spectrum Noir pens. I do like to use the bracket cards too.

There we have it. Hope you'll come play along in the "Anything Goes" challenge :)

CF DT - Anything Goes

Good Morning!

I'm back on the right team this week for the "Anything Goes" challenge over at Creative Fingers

This week I've gone with a card that's got no image on it. It was for my Brother and Sister-in-Law's 1st Wedding Anniversary :)

Pretty much every piece of card has been embossed that includes the vellum on the hearts too which have been punched out. The colour scheme for the wedding was white, navy blue and silver so I used the navy and silver against the white.  I can say as well, they loved it! And it's now in frame.

Hope you come join in the challenge! :)

MTTC DT - Sympathy

Good Morning!

A brand new challenge over at MTTC this week which is "Sympathy".
I never really make any sympathy cards so this was a challenge for me. I decided before I started that I wanted to make the card quite CAS.

The card is from Ikea and is 10x15cm in size. The grey dots are on the card already. I printed the "with sympathy" off the pc on to vellum and stuck it to the fancy oval frame. The flowers and pearls were added afterwards as the card was too plain.

Please come by the blog..even if you don't play along :)

CF DT - Anything Goes

Good Morning!

I have a confession to make.... I completely forgot to add my card in to the DT and do my post, so I'm jumping in on Team A's week :)

As always, the Creative Fingers challenge is "Anything Goes" so here's what I've got...

I must admit.. I do love this card with the layered up digi images from Just InkLined. The two images I've used are Fashion Shoe and Wedding Purse. I've used the Fashion Shoe digi twice so I had a pair of shoes instead of just one. The images have been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. The spotty paper is out of my stash along with the ribbon and pearls.

Come stop by the blog and play along :)

Something New

Good Morning..  Hope you all had a great christmas & fab new year too.  We are finally back with a new challenge over at My Time ...
