My Time To Craft DT - Paper Piecing..

Morning! 

Hope everyone is okay :) 

I'm late again this fortnight.... eeeek! So a quick post from me. 

Our new challenge over at My Time To Craft is "Paper Piecing". It's a great technique to use. 

So here's what I've got

 Both the dresses of the girls have been paper pieced.. if that's a word?! I find I always use the same colour card for the background so I'm trying to use different colours. I used kraft for this one. The the girls are coloured using Spectrum Noirs. Added a button, twine and pearls for some detail.

My Time To Craft DT - Christmas in June

Good Morning! 

I hope it's nice and sunny where you are... you'll need to keep this in mind for the challenge over at My Time To Craft this fortnight. Our new challenge is 

"Christmas in June!" 

I for one, HATE christmas cards!! 

No matter how many you make, you still end up running out!! Sooooooo annoying! 

Anyhows, on to the card I've made for the challenge: 

Naughty or Nice? 

I wanted to use my kraft card for this card and the image fitted perfectly. The image is from Kenny K. She's been coloured using both Spectrum Noirs and Promarkers. I couldn't decide so used both! Sentiment is printed of the pc. Of course I had to get soem twine on there ;) 

I think I'm going to make a head start on my xmas cards... I say this every year and it never happens!

I'll look for some inspiration anyways ;) 

 

Simply Betty Babies

Oh WOW! 

New babies from Simply Betty stamps! These are simply awesome! I had to download them asap. 

I've made two cards with two of the images and I'm going to enter them into the challenge over on Simply Betty stamps which is...

"Using any of the new Teen babies create one project and do NOT use any traditional baby colors: Light Pink, Yellow, Baby Blue, Baby Green.  NOTHING pastel and nothing traditional baby!"

Here's what I've done: 

I've used Spectrum Noirs to colour these lilly cuties. These images are super to colour and they will be awesome for toddler cards. I had to get some ribbon on the cards somewhere!! And a few buttons lol. 

Stay tuned as I may colour the others up. 

My Time To Craft DT - Make it DL!

Gooood Afternoon! 

A lilly late from me for the new challenge over at My Time To Craft this fortnight. 

I thought I'd uploaded my card for the "Make it DL!" challenge but I hadn't... oops! 

But, better late than never.... Here is my card:

 Must admit, I did enjoy making a DL card. It's been years since I last made one. Mother has now nabbed this for her friends birthday! I do love this Kenny K image. I use her on soooooo many cards, she's a classic. THis image was actually coloured using promarkers... thought I'd change it up a little bit ;) I couldn't get a ribbon and bow on the card so used twine instead and a cute purple heart button. Sentiment has been printed off the computer. 

A short and sweet post from me, I'm off to watch the football. Love the World Cup. Three/Four matches a day, my idea of heaven! LOL 

My Time To Craft DT - No Design Papers

Good Morning! 

Any easier challenge over at My Time To Craft this week.Well, I think it is anyways...

"No Design Papers" 

I tend to flit between using spotty/stripy papers to none at all and using embossing folders. So this challenge was an easy one for me. 

I've used an embossing folder for the background. I do love the effect you get with embossing folders. The image I had coloured a while ago so I used it. I love the simple, elegant backgrounds with art deco images. Of course had to add a ribbon n bow, pearls and a few flowers. I'm happy with it, it must have been okay cuz my mother has claimed it to give to her friend!
