Monday Greetings DT - Anything Goes

Hello everyone!

I new challenge over at Monday Greetings on the OutLawz today - Link is HERE
Our new challenge is "Anything Goes!"

We are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments - Link to store is HERE
I got to use the super cute Jason and Eve - Link is HERE

I have used a little play on words with the greeting. I thought it was quite appropriate with the little boy and girl :)

Think I'm going through a chevron phase! Seem to be using a lot of this card at the mo. This time I went with a hint of yellow rather than blue tho. Infact, I think I'd already coloured the image in so that was pretty simple to make. I've used a grey and white spotty paper behind the image to tie in with this hair and trousers. Had to get some buttons in there too! And the play of words with the greeting made me chuckle.

Here's a few more pics
Hope to see you join in the challenge :)

CWWC DT - Distress it

Morning!

Super quick post from me as it's my Nephew's Christening today! Eeeek!
So a brand new challenge over at Crafting When We Can today - Link is HERE
We are sponsored by the awesome Oddball Art Co. - Link to store is HERE
And our challenge is "Distress it!"

I've used Big Eye Eve Has Something To Say - Link is HERE
And I tried to stick to the red, blue and black colour combo, which is reflected in the buttons and colours used on the image itself. The sentiment has been printed off the pc. To distress my card, I roughed up the edges of the paper and cards. You can use various tools, I like to use a craft knife tho.

As I say, Super quick from me. Hope you enjoy your Sunday and look forward to seeing your creations on the blog! :)

MTTC DT - Inspired by The Beatles

Good Morning!

Another fun filled challenge over at My Time To Craft this fortnight!! - Link is HERE
Our challenge is

"Inspired by The Beatles"

It's up to you how you interpret the theme.
I went for something a little quirky and used and SBS image - Link to store is HERE

I mainly wanted to stick to a couple of colours and the red and blue sits well together. I've used 3 different types of patterned papers to add layers. The buttons and twine are added to the chevron strip with the greeting being printed off the pc. The image I've used is ASH from Jude and the Rockers range by Rachel Sharp. I do love these images! I've got the whole set so there maybe more cards made in the same colour schemes :)

Looking forward to see how everyone makes something with the theme :)

Creative Fingers DT - The East Wind

Good Morning!

A brand new challenge for you over at Creative Fingers today - Link is HERE
As always it's anything goes but this challenge we are sponsored by The East Wind - Link to store is HERE
I got to use the awesome Lucy Loo mirrorball earring and skull bag - Link is HERE
For something different, I did her near enough "normal" Although I have re-done her looking funky!

Card is A5 in size with the use of 3 different papers. I had to get a bow in there somewhere too! ;)
Lucy Loo has been coloured using promarkers. I did use a tombow pen to go over her hair to add some depth. I've not added a greeting as I may change the use for this card so left it blank.

Hope you enjoy the other DT creations :)

Good Morning!

We have a brand new challenge over at Dare To Be Sassy Thursday this week - Link is HERE
Our new challenge is "Colour Me Scared"
So colour your image black with either orange, purple or green.
I've used Sally Honey - Link is HERE
And I've coloured her in black and orange - something completely different to her usual look of blueish skin and red hair! EEEKKK!!!

I'm actually really pleased with the way this card turned out, especially only using 2/3 colours. I had to colour her up again tho after in correct colours. She may make an appearance next week along with Jack, who know's ;)
She's been coloured completely with Promarkers.
The silver spider web card I've had for ages and never used it! Least it's come in handy :)

Colours used are
Black
Orange - Red, Orange & Mandarin
Grey - Cool Grey 4, Cool Grey 3 & Cool Grey 2
I hope you'll have fun with the colour combo this week!

Monday Greetings DT - Use a Flower and/or Brad

Hello!

A little late posting this as I thought I'd done it ready to post but obviously not!

Anyhow's, this weeks challenge over at Monday Greetings is "Use a flower and/or brads" - Link is HERE
We are sponsored by the awesome Rick St Dennis for this week - Link to store is HERE
I got to use the image Miss Razz L. Dazzle - Link is HERE

I went with slightly brighter colours for this to make it a little more bold and in your face lol. As soon as I coloured her up my mom went "I'll have that for my friend" hahaha. She does like to get in there quick! I was going to use a brad on my bow but I couldn't find the pot until after I'd stuck the bow down and there was the pot of brads. Always the way! She's been coloured using Promarkers.

Hope to see you join in the fun!

DTBS DT - Tic Tac Toe

Morning!

A new challenge over at Dare To Be Sassy today which is Tic Tac Toe - Link is HERE

So, we would like you to use any 3 in a row off the board - Board is below.
I went for the top line of Flower, Spider/spider Web, Spooky Fence.

Here's what I've come up with,

Using Wicked Honey - Image is HERE
I've layered her on to silver spider web card, die cut a fence out and added flowers where I've twisted the stems up. Wicked Honey has been coloured using Promarkers on Linen effect card. I love the effect you get. Sentiment was off line but I think it's prefect for a little witch :)
The black spider web in the corner is also die cut.

Hope to all those "wicked" creations on the blog ;)

Monday Greetings DT - Autumnal colours and twine

Ooops! In the event of my birthday yesterday, I completely forgot my blog post! Eeeek!
Anyways, a little later but better than never :)

So, this weeks challenge at Monday Greetings is "Autumnal Colours & Twine" - Link is HERE
This week we've had TWO sponsors - Scribbles Designs - Link to store is HERE
And Melonheadz - Link to Store is HERE
I struggle with autumn colours so had a little bit of help as I followed this

Do you have trouble picking out the right color for your home? Let me help, I'm a certified color specialist! Sensibly Chic Designs for Life 704-608-9424:

So, with the help of the picture, I came up with these two cards.

First one up is Scribbles Designs and I've used Maple Leaf - Link to image is HERE
Image has been coloured using Promarkers. Greeting is printed off the computer.

Second card up is Melonheadz using Snowman Bobbleheadz - Link to image is HERE
I used two of the set, added a heart in between and printed the sentiment off the pc. Images again have been coloured using Promarkers.

A couple of CAS cards from me. I do love this style although sometimes I want to add more lol.
Hope to see you join in with us! :)

CWWC DT - Whimsical With Wings

Good Morning!

I was AWOL for the last challenge, my apologies! I didn't realise the date as it was my Dad's 60th Birthday weekend so most things went out the window that weekend.

Anyhow's, on to the new challenge over at Crafting When We Can - Link is HERE
The new challenge is "Whimsical With Wings"
We are sponsored by the awesome Aurora Wings - Link to shop is HERE

I was lucky enough to use the super cute Honey Bee Sprite - Link is HERE
Here's what I've come up with,

The card itself is an 8" by 8", boy did I print the image way too big!! But I think it works. I coloured the little dude in with Spectrum Noir Pens and used a swirly embossed background. Sentiment is printed off the pc.

Hope to see you stop by the blog and play along :)

MTTC DT - Autumn Colours

Good Morning!

Wow, some great work by the DT for last challenge and awesome work by you guys too!
Now it's onto another challenge for 2 weeks over at MTTC - Link is HERE
This challenge is "Autumn Colours"

Now, I do admit that I was struggling for colours with this, so I went onto Pinterest and found this super stunning colour combo. I tried to stick as close to it as possible...

beautiful birds!!...love these colors. MIght use these colors to decorate my apartment:

So, I used a Saturated Canary image which I haven't used in aggggeeesssss!
Here's what I've got:

The image is called Ellie's Birthday.
I have coloured her in with promarkers and a Tombow pen to add some definition to her hair. The arrows are paperclips from IKEA. I adore them and perfect for this card to match her jumper. For something different too, I printed the sentiment in vellum and layered it over the image and attached the bow & button. Of course, with some twine involved ;)

I must admit, I'm very happy with the end result. Turned out much better than expected!
Hope to see you stop by the blog with all those autumnal coloured creations :)

Creative Fingers DT - Anything Goes

Morning!

On the blog today, finally, a Christmas card!
It's the 2nd one I've done now LOL Still need to get a wiggle on tho! EEEEK!

So the challenge over at Creative Fingers is Anything Goes but it's running for TWO WEEKS - Link is HERE
We are sponsored this week by the awesome Scrappers Delight - Link to store is HERE
I got to use the adorable Sophie Victorian - Link to image is HERE
Here's what I did

Coloured her up with Promarkers, wanted to add a bit of colour from the normal traditional colours but also wanted to keep the background CAS with white embossing so she pops out. Added a ribbon and bow, had to add a bell too. I love those little bells. And then I came across the die-cut signs I completely forgot I had! I think they finish off the card. Added a couple of gems for some sparkle and finished.

Hope to see you by the blog, what's easier than an anything goes challenge right?!

I'm also entering in to the following challenge:

1. Crafty Catz - Embossing

DTBS DT - Spots & Dots

Aye up!
Hope everyone is okay? It's a bit chilly here in the middle of the UK but are supposed to be having an Indian Summer...yay for the sunshine!

Anywho's, this week's challenge over at Dare To Be Sassy - Link is HERE
is "Spots & Dots"
Now, I wanted to do something a little different than Halloween. Truth be told, I struggle with Halloween as we don't really celebrate it in the UK.

Here's what I come up with

I have used the Super Sassy Bat Girl - Link to image is HERE
She has been coloured to the more traditional colours of grey and blue using Promarkers. The yellow circle with the bat on is embossed and the bat has been cut out by hand. The papers are from Etsy and are available as a digital download - Link is HERE
I simply could not resist the sentiment! "I'm Batwomen, Batman's better half" pure genius from me to think of that LOL
Here's a few closer up pics

Can't wait to see all your creations!

Monday Greetings DT - Halloween Party!

Hello everyone!
I was AWOL last week, my pc decided to not play ball and I had to reinstall everything!
Luckily I lost no photo's or files or anything... Phew!

Anywho's, back this week with a great challenge over at Monday Greetings - Link is HERE
This weeks challenge is

"Halloween Party!"
So, cards, invites, anything you can think of to do with halloween.

We are also sponsored this week by Deedee's Digi's - Link to store is HERE
The image I've played with is Pumpkin Pals - Link to images is HERE

This is what I've got,

I really struggle with Halloween cards as here in the UK, we don't really do much for halloween. It doesn't seem to be a big holiday like it is everywhere else.
I went with a CAS card as I wanted the greeting and image quite predominant. Had to get a bit of twine in too! :)

Hope to see you over at The OutLawz :)

DTBS - Make it Fly

Hi Sassy Fans!

I hope you are all well.
I'm back on the Dare To Be Sassy team for this month - Link is HERE
So the challenge for this week is

"Make it Fly "

I've used Virgo - Link is HERE
But I've given her a frosty kind of look :)

Decided to make her in to a christmas card. I think she's very versatile! The spotty card is one half of a card from Ikea - I love them!! And the snowflakes are die-cut. I just had to get a button and some twine on there too ;) The image itself is coloured using promarkers. Added a few pearls for an extra touch too.

Hope to see your awesome creations on the blog!

Something New

Good Morning..  Hope you all had a great christmas & fab new year too.  We are finally back with a new challenge over at My Time ...
