Pink Tilda

First time in ages that I've managed to get on here!

So a couple of posts from me... First up, Tilda in Pink. Now, I hate pink but I tend to make a lot of cards using pink. Always the way. I also include black on a lot of my cards too.... hmmmm...

Anyways onto the card.. It's a 6x6 card (been a while since I made one of these too!)

Full Card

Haven't got a greeting on it as of yet tho... I might add one, and I've just noticed a pearl has fallen off in the bottom left corner D'oh!

Another Tilda..

Does anyone else have loads of stamps/images and when you make a card, you never know what image to use?!

I've done exactly that!! Had already coloured her in with the colour scheme in mind, but never got round to making the card. But today, I have.

The reason behind the colour scheme is because of "The Bhoys in Green"..... Celtic.

The Bhoys in Green
 Love those bhoys!

So, there's 2 challeneges this week for "favourite colour combo" so I've gone with green & white.

The 2 challenges I'm entering into are:

Off to tidy up... you can not see the desk!

Hello there Tilda...

Feel like I've negelected my Tilda's of late.. So I thought I'd use some on my cards today.

First card up is one for my lil Cousin for her 10th Birthday. Tilda has been coloured to look like her, as she does. Plus, if my lil cousin could wear a dress everyday like a princess, I think she would!

So onto the card, must say, do love a bracket card.

Tilda has been coloured using promarkers. The card is slightly darker than it looks. The pink backing paper is glittered too.

Charisma Cardz - Don't be square!!

** WARNING PICTURE HEAVY **

Exactly as it says in the title, this weeks challenge over at Charisma Cardz is

"Don't be square!"

Well, there are a few cards I could enter into this but I'm going to enter the following one as it certainly isn't square! I do love using bracket cards but I dusted down the screen card template...

So here it my card:

Upright
The screen card itself is red card with white shimmer mounted onto green. The white shimmer card has also been embossed with snowflakes and dots. Images have been stamped onto the white shimmer card and coloured in with pro markers. Leaves are punched out of green along with the "Noel" "Joy" and lantern. I love the glittery twirly things!

The middle page is blank as I can then personalise it as and when I need too. Right, ready for the pics..

Apologies for all the pictures.

Totally Tilda - Use Kraft

Better late than never hey! Although, probably would help if I could remember where I put my Kraft card! It was right in the bottom of the drawer... isn't this always the way?!

Was so restless yesterday that in the end I made my card for the Totally Tilda Challenge. Although, when I started, didn't think I'd actually finish it! But I did. Did take some time cutting all the little pieces out tho. Must have some patience.

So here's what I came up with :

Ingredients :

Image - Tilda by Magnolia. Image coloured using pro markers. Greeting - stamped onto card. Embellishments - Pearls, Butterflies, Flowers & Leaves, Ribbon and Bow. Card Stock - Kraft, Navy and  Gingham Tan Paper. Scallop's & circles are die-cut. Martha Stewart border punch.

Here's a better look at the details :

Totally Tilda & Bunting

Well as it says in the title, Totally Tilda & Bunting.. Does exactly what it say's on the tin! LOL

Right then, so the Totally Tilda blog is having a DT call.. with a picture as inspiration. I've used the colours as inspiration, well as near as I could get.

The idea for bunting came when I was sat in my Auntie's last sunday and my cousin was cutting out the shapes. I said "oh, I could put tilda's on each one n put Abigail's name on it. She can put it in her room then" so that's what I have done. Each one represents what Abigail does. She loves football, she always picking flowers or dressing up in pretty dresses.

Took a while to make mind! Here are some close up pictures of the indiviual pieces:

Gymnastic Tilda, Spring Tilda, Tilda with Flowers

Sitting Tilda, Dressed up Tilda

Football Tilda, Heart Apron Tilda

Each piece I've tried to do different and add different detail to it. Think I've managered to pull it off!

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

31/07/2012

Wish it, dream it, do it.

Went blog hopping to get some inspiration and I came across a blog challenge with the theme of "In the country". Luckily for me, it was a Magnolia blog, as I was hoping to use a Tilda. The colours are from an inspirational pic and the rest is done from imagenation ;) I had a punch ages ago that my Mommyo brought me, used it a few times but used it loads the last couple of cards I made! I do love it tho especially when you can add a little butterfly to sit on the petal.

So without further ado, here it is :

Flowers have been punched out and layered along with the butterflies. I added gems to the centres of the flowers and pearls to the butterflies for bodies. The clouds and swirls have been die cut. The image is 2 stamps which have been layered and coloured using promarkers.

Close up's of detail
So the challenge's I'm entering this creation into are:

Just Magnolia - In the Country
Totally Tilda - Summer Fun
Cupcake Craft Challenge - The Great Outdoors
Magnolia-Licious - Inspiration

Just Magnolia - In the Garden

Kinda cheated a bit with this one. The card was already pre-made as I had made it for a birthday card last week and decided to change my idea for the little girl, but it fits in perfectly with the Just Magnolia Challenge of In the Garden. The 4 stamps used are all Magnolia stamps too.

So here's the card:

I've used quite a few die-cuts on this card too. The butterflies are punched out along with the leaves. The clouds are die-cut. I love them! They only arrived this morning, so obviously had to use them :)

All the images have been coloured using promarkers in greens and purples. There is no sentiment/greeting on this card. I'll add that when I use the card I think :)

Footy Nut

Haven't posted for a while... again! Why oh why is christmas ALWAYS so hectic?! Maybe I should be more organised? I did get rather fed up in the end of making Christmas cards... plus my mojo did completely disappear :(

But never mind... because it's back! With Celtic winning the Old Firm derby last night, it inspired me to make my "footy nut" card. Brought a really cute Tilda last week, coloured and cut her out but she had nothing to sit on until today when my wall stamp arrived! :D

Unfortunately, I had already coloured her in in red & white :( much to my disappointment! Could have re-coloured her in green & white (celtic colours) or Claret & Blue (Aston Villa colours) but I thought I would use her anyways... so the end result is this...

Footy Nut
No doubt I will make a load of these now! lol My burgandy pro marker came today too! It's as near as damn it to claret ;) haha so it will do! need to find more football backing paper actually too... here's a close up of Tilda on the wall....

Going to enter this into the following challenge: Simon Says Stamp! - Theme: Anything Goes First time joining in with this one too! I was blog hopping, well being nosey on Mandy's blog! (Check it out, Mandy's blog and creations are AWESOME!) and saw that Mandy is indeed a DT member on there too... Hope to join in a lot more from now on tho...

WOW! what a long post! I'm done now, thanks for popping by and having a read :) toodles! x
