CWWC DT - Animals

Gooooooood Morning! 

Super excited today as I get to see my best friend and my Godson, which ironically, what I'm about to show you today is for him! 

So a new challenge over at Crafting When We Can - Link is HERE 

And this fortnight's challenge is Animals. 

Brilliant! As I've been waiting to show this!! 

So, I wanted to make someathing for my Godson and remembered his room is all about animals. 

This is what happened....

There's going to be a few pics!! 

Everything on this jungle mobile apart from the "TED" has been cut out by hand. 

"TED" is die cut. It's a good job dies work with felt too! 

So, everything is made out or felt and handstitched together. 

I had to get some buttons in there somewhere!

I soooooo loved making these, I'll probably end up making another one as well.

It's been a while....

Well hello! 

Welcome back to my little place in blogland. It's been a while! 

Had no PC from like May, Got a new one now tho but been super busy over Christmas. 

So, I'm back to share with you my DT make for Mt Time To Craft - Link is HERE 

The theme is..... Something New

 Now I've gone down the new baby route, only because I wanted to make a car seat. 

They are pretty easy to make. Just follow a template, it's the assembly bit that is a pain!

MTTC DT - New Baby

Good Morning! 

A super cute challenge over at MTTC this week... New Baby! 

Gave me chance to print off my baby meople digis.. 

Typical baby boy card.. lots of blue and cuteness. The backing paper is chevrons and the white is embossed with a swiss dots embossing folder. Circles are die-cut and the image has been cut out too.

The image I've used is from the Meoples range from C.C Designs but you can longer get them is digi format :(

New Baby..

Second post of the day from me. 

This time I'm sharing with you a card I made for my Brother & Sister-in-Law on the birth of my Nephew last week. 

It's an All Dressed Up Image called My Baby Shower. The image can be found HERE.I've taken off the wording on the image and added my own. 

I printed the image direct on to 8x8 paper and then printed just the image on to white card stock, coloured and cut it out. I've 3d'd the items on the line to add some depth. Image was coloured using copics and spectrum noir pens. A CAS card but effective, I can see me making more long these lines especially with this adorable image!

I'm entering this challenge in to the following:

(I've used the blue & white colours and interpreted the picture as spring = new life)

My Time To Craft DT - New

Morning! 

Other saturday which means another challenge over at My Time To Craft. This weeks challenge is

"New" but not new stash! So anything along the lines of new baby, home, job etc. 

I've gone with the theme of new baby just because I wanted to use my baby onesie die! It's awesome! It's from The Greeting Farm and I LOVE it! 

The papers are from the Papermania Capsule Collection, spots and stripes - pastels. The "baby" is a die-cut. Beens I haven't used any twine or ribbon (shocking!) I thought I'd use a few lilly buttons to jazz it up a bit. The onesie die is so versatile tho. It comes with 3 different collars plus a bow as well. Oh, I've had one of those lightbulb moments! Watch this space!

Cute as A Button

Hello everyone, 

Feel like I've neglected my blog again... 

First post up is for the challenge over at Addicted to Stamps, which is "Beautiful Button" 

So I am sharing this creation with you. It's a digi image from All That Scraps by C.C Designs.

Also thought the sentiment was quite fitting too!

Baby's 1st Birthday

Hello! What a busy week! Actually managed to get some stuff done today. 

Had an order for two 1st Birthday cards. Well, I struggled big time trying to find some images! Then I came across a couple of images by C.C Designs over at All That Scraps. Perfect! Also perfect was that the Anyone for Anya? challenge this week is a sketch. 

So, here is my card....

She has been coloured with promarkers and layered up.

Shoes!!

Wow! I was top 5 in the Fab 'n' Funky challenge last week :D Thank You so much! 

This week's Fab 'n' Funky challenge is... SHOES.

So this is what I've come up with...

Aston Villa Baby Shoes!

These are for a baby's christening. The parents are big Villa fans (for all our sins mind!) So rather than doing white with a hint of blue shoes, I decieded to do these. They are completely made out of card, using peel offs and brads. They're quite easy to do, just a bit hard manipulating the bottoms to sit flush to the sole. The back of the box does have info on as well.

My Time To Craft - BABY

Hello... it's been a while since I've been in blog land. That doesn't mean to say I've stopped making.. I don't even think that's possible?! 

First post of the day, I'm quite late posting this but wanted to share this card. 

Just so happens that My Time To Craft's challenge this week is

"BABY" 

.... perfect. Here's my card.. It's for Twins!

Image is by Lili of the Valley and is coloured in promarkers. I had to run the image through the scanner to get the names on the scales tho. Pearls and Ribbon added as always. The hearts and feet are both punched out. Sentiment is also stamped.

That's post one done :) 

Baby Cards

So a few Baby cards on the agenda today.. must say, everytime I make a baby card, the Lili of the Valley stamps come out to play. I absolutely LOVE them! So the baby cards were for a boy and a girl, Nephew and Niece. Really struggled to start with because I couldn't decide on papers and layouts but finally came up with these...

So the Baby Boy card first.

The layout is pretty simple but effective. To tie in with the one challenge I am entering, I have made my own sentiment on both cards. But it's "anything goes" for the other challenge.

Baby Girl card second.

Again a simple layout and very girly! Same as above with the sentiment.

Font used is called "Segoe Script"

On both cards, I have used a ribbon, a bow and card candi.
