CF DT - Nikki Burnette

Good Morning!

Another Friday so another challenge over at Creative Fingers - Link is HERE
This challenge we are sponsored by the awesome Nikki Burnette! - Link to Etsy Store HERE
I had the chance to play with the awesome Telsa who is Steampunk - Link to image is HERE

I decided to go with a different colour than I've used before, teal. I do really like the teal and brown together. Would never have really thought about it either. The image itself is coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and I've used 3 different patterned papers, 3 different coloured star buttons, 3 different coloured twines and 3 different coloured card candi. And yes, I know I've used 4 buttons but 2 are the same colour LOL!

I think I shall be using this image again!

MTTC - Sketch

Good Morning!

Hope everyone is well and not rained out too much?!
We have a brand new challenge over at MTTC this week and it's a sketch again... yay!!

So here's the sketch...
and here's what I've come up with...I've turned the sketch on it's side

This image is from Just InkLined which you can find HERE. I've had it coloured for ages but never made it to a card until now! The image was coloured with Spectrum Noir pens. The stars at the bottom are punched out and I've just realised the first star is the wrong way up LOL. Oh well. Sentiment was printed off the pc and cut in half like two little tags.

I hope you enjoy the sketch!

FBF - Pin Up Bunny

Afternoon! Well just about..
Today's post for you is a Flash Back Friday image from Sassy Studio Designs which is Pin Up Bunny.
Info can be found over at Sassy Studio Designs

I've gone for a CAS look again in pink with a hint of grey. The image itself has been coloured using promarkers and copics. I have recently just discovered using promarkers Blush, Buttercup & Ivory for blonde hair (in that order too). Usually I stick to brown LOL. I've coloured eyes in green to add a splash of colour. As I had done the card white and pink, the suit she's wearing didn't really stand out hence the light grey suit.

That's the post from me done. She is an awesome Pin Up!

FBF - Pin Up Cat

Afternoon! Well just about..

Today's post for you is a Flash Back Friday image from Sassy Studio Designs which is Pin Up Cat.
Info can be found over at Sassy Studio Designs.

I've gone for a CAS look today in pink with a hint of grey. The image itself has been coloured using promarkers and copics. I have recently just discovered using promarkers Blush, Buttercup & Ivory for blonde hair (in that order too). Usually I stick to brown LOL. I've coloured eyes in green too, just like a cat. Her suit, shoes, ears, lips & eyes have been glittered up. Can't really see in the picture tho. The sentiment I printed off the pc and it reads "What greater gift then the love of a cat? - Charles Dickens" Very apt.

That's the post from me done. She is an awesome Pin Up!

Geeky Mae

I absolutely LOVE the girlies from Some Odd Girl
They do fit pretty much any occasion and are suitable for any age.
The boys are very cute too :)

So, the card itself is for Fay, she has Gok style glasses and loves pale blue. Perfect!

Full card
The image has been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. Fabulous. They blend so well. The "13" was printed and cut out by hand. It's the design to look a little rough around the edges ;)
The layout is from the Papertake Weekly Challenge which I'm entering this card into, Sketch #84.
I didn't think spots, stripes, gingham and stars would go but I'm pretty happy with it.

Here's a few more photos:

Cute as A Button

Hello everyone,

Feel like I've neglected my blog again...
First post up is for the challenge over at Addicted to Stamps, which is "Beautiful Button"

So I am sharing this creation with you. It's a digi image from All That Scraps by C.C Designs.
Also thought the sentiment was quite fitting too!

Without further ado, here is my creation:

Wasn't sure of the colours to start with, but everyone loved it so I can't complain, lol.

I would load some more pics up, but it seems that my pc doesn't want to play! :(

Had an order for two 1st Birthday cards. Well, I struggled big time trying to find some images! Then I came across a couple of images by C.C Designs over at All That Scraps. Perfect! Also perfect was that the Anyone for Anya? challenge this week is a sketch.

So, here is my card....

Just because....

... you're my Mom!

Well, can say I'm pretty much chuffed with this. Took long enough to do with cutting all the laters out!

The image itself is actually 3 different digi images from Tiddly Inks made into 1. It's for
Mother's Day from a daughter. The daughter also has a little dog and I've tried to colour him the same as their dog. His a little rogue! So holding a balloon is very fitting. The images are also layered. Yes it took a looooooong time but I'm please with the outcome.

Enough rambling.....

Full Card

I am entering this into numerous challenges, so please bare with me!

1. Tiddly Inks - CAS
2. Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
3. Creative Inspirations - Mother's Day
4. Fab & Funky - Cute & Cuddly

Phew! All done. Here's some more pics.

Off to watch the footy... Come On You Bhoys In Green!

Another Tilda..

Does anyone else have loads of stamps/images and when you make a card, you never know what image to use?!

I've done exactly that!! Had already coloured her in with the colour scheme in mind, but never got round to making the card. But today, I have.

The reason behind the colour scheme is because of "The Bhoys in Green"..... Celtic.

The Bhoys in Green
 Love those bhoys!

So, there's 2 challeneges this week for "favourite colour combo" so I've gone with green & white.

The card
The 2 challenges I'm entering into are:

Off to tidy up... you can not see the desk!

Black, White + One.

Another card using Alice Mae.. I'm sure there will be a few more over the weekend. That's what you get for having pre-coloured images! Takes a bit of time out of the making process though :)

So, the card itself...

Full card
Quite a simple design but yet such a versatile one. I will definitely be using this layout again!
The gingham paper and the glitter card is actually turquoise in colour. (I think I had too much light on the card). The black and white panel is a piece of linen card embossed, with an ink pad run over the top.

Image
 Challenges I'm entering into:

1. Mojo Monday - 275 Contest
2. Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Black/White + a splash of colour

Off to make another card.. might make a blue one as all the challenges are "January Blues"....

Red Head Mae

Ah, I'm doing well... 2nd post this week!

Straight into it then... How adorable is this image?! If you haven't checked out the Some Odd Girl site, please do check it out here. They do rubber stamps and digi's. Although not so sure you will be able to decide what to purchase! I always have trouble. They are just to lovely!

So, the card I've made I'm entering into 2 challenges, one being a sketch and the other being a theme. Struggled with the sketch, contemplated turning it around but changed my mind.

Full Card
Quite a vibrant card but looking at it now... not sure I like the blue gingham?! Oh well, nout I can do about it!

So the challenges:

1. Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sketch #188-89
2. Papertake Weekly - "Happy New...."

For the "Happy New...." I have used my new ultimate pro board to get the oval, new brads & new stamp. She is also a newish image.

Close up.

Enough rambling, I'm off to make some fairies...

Totally Tilda - Use Kraft

Better late than never hey! Although, probably would help if I could remember where I put my Kraft card! It was right in the bottom of the drawer... isn't this always the way?!

Was so restless yesterday that in the end I made my card for the Totally Tilda Challenge. Although, when I started, didn't think I'd actually finish it! But I did. Did take some time cutting all the little pieces out tho. Must have some patience.

So here's what I came up with :

Ingredients :

Image - Tilda by Magnolia. Image coloured using pro markers. Greeting - stamped onto card. Embellishments - Pearls, Butterflies, Flowers & Leaves, Ribbon and Bow. Card Stock - Kraft, Navy and  Gingham Tan Paper. Scallop's & circles are die-cut. Martha Stewart border punch.

Here's a better look at the details :

Anyone for Anya?

Anyone for Anya? I seriously need to buy more of these of stamps. They are brilliant.

Had an order for a "girly, pink, shopping" birthday card... that's pretty much everything I hate! I'm such a tomboy. Give me football, claret & blue/green & white, internet shopping any day of the week! But, saying that, You always find that you like the outcome anyways.

It was a sketch for this weeks challenge. I think I'll be using this sketch again definately. Simple, but you could add details or leave it simple. Either way, it's fab.

Image is from the Miss Anya Collection, you can find these here.

So here is the outcome;

What I used on my card:

Image - Miss Anya Collection by The Greeting Farm. Image coloured using pro markers. Greeting - pre-printed. Embellishments - Card Candy, Stitched Ribbon, Brads. Card Stock - Pink, Black & Pink Gingham Paper.

Here's a close up of the Image :
