Happy Super-Day!

 Good Morning!

Another Saturday and time for another challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE
This fortnight's challenge is

A Sketch

...made by me! 😁

Heres's the sketch :

Here's what I've come up with..

Love this little superhero dude!
He is from The Greeting Farm and He is part of the digi image "Amazing Duo" - Link is HERE
He has been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. I can't give you the colours as I've lost the paper I wrote them down on 😵
The backing paper is a digital download off Etsy. The stars are die cuts.
The banner with the sentiment is cut out on the Portrait.

I hope you enjoy the sketch!

Unicorns!

Hello and welcome to an awesome challenge theme over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE

This challenge our theme is :

Anything but a card

YES! I love this theme as I'm making more items that aren't cards.
So, I'm here to show you my Unicorn Mobile.

The Unicorns have been hand cut out of felt and hand sewn together.
The small clouds and stars are die cuts and have been hand sewn together.
The larger clouds are hand drawn, cut out and hand sewn.

There's a fair few pics!

Had a lot of fun making this!
I am currently selling it - Link is HERE
The patterns are from the cutest little store on Etsy called Little Things To Share - Link is HERE

Have fun with the challenge!

Creative Fingers DT - Anything Goes

Good Morning!
It's nearly the weekend yay!

This morning we have a new "anything goes" challenge going on at Creative Fingers - link is HERE.
This challenge we are sponsored by the awesome Sweet Pea Stamps.
I was super excited as I got to choose this badboy image!

I love this image! It's super punky! And she is called "Lucy Loo Longleggings" - link is HERE
She's AWESOME! She has been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens and Copics. The greeting is printed off the pc. I also wanted to do the card quite dark to have more emphasis on the image so hence the black. The panel in which she is attached to is embossed with stars. The edge of the glitter card is punched out with a Martha Stewart punch. Of course I had to get some twine and a button in there LOL

Stop by the blog and play along.. An anything goes challenge is easy peasy!

MTTC - Sketch

Good Morning!

Hope everyone is well and not rained out too much?!
We have a brand new challenge over at MTTC this week and it's a sketch again... yay!!

So here's the sketch...
and here's what I've come up with...I've turned the sketch on it's side

This image is from Just InkLined which you can find HERE. I've had it coloured for ages but never made it to a card until now! The image was coloured with Spectrum Noir pens. The stars at the bottom are punched out and I've just realised the first star is the wrong way up LOL. Oh well. Sentiment was printed off the pc and cut in half like two little tags.

I hope you enjoy the sketch!

My Time To Craft DT - Stripes

Good Morning!

Wow! Lots of entries for the "All New Things" challenge. A lot of variety.

This week we have the challenge of "Stripes" over MTTC.
Well, I didn't think I'd struggle with this challenge as much as I did! I use stripe paper all the time!
But I did get some inspiration :) So, here's what I've got:

The stunning image is from Aurora Wings and can be found HERE. I've coloured her using Promarkers and added gold liquid pearls after I'd coloured the stars in grey. I wanted to use the stripes as the background as I've had a stars embossing folder for ages and I've hardly used it! Prefect! The sentiment I've had printed off the computer for ages too. Thought it fit quite nice. Added some gold gems for a bit extra detail.. I was unsure whether the gold would work with grey and pink, but I'm happy with it.

That's it from me, off to do a few orders...

Crafting When We Can DT - Borrow A Sketch

EEEEEEKKKK!!!! I'm on a new design time! Exciting times!
I got selected as part of the new DT team over at Crafting When We Can.

So, The challenge is....

"Borrow A Sketch" - Give credit to the sketch you've borrowed.

This challenge we are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs

The image I've used is "Queen's Coronation Sassy" which can be found HERE
The sketch I've borrowed is #311 form Sketch Saturday which can be found HERE

I've cut out the image and coloured her using Spectrum Noirs. The white panel on the left handside is embossed with tiny pearl gems to pick out the detail. The sentiment is printed off the pc. You'll also get to know that I either use ribbon or twine on most of my cards! I love them lol.

Hope you come play along!

Two Sisters DT - Embossing

Good morning!
Some exciting news this morning, I'm one of the new DT members over at Two Sisters :D more exciting times ahead!

So, the new challenge to kick the year off is "embossing"

This week we were sponsored by A Random Fan who has given us two super cute images to play with! I have used "Underwear Hero" I've also used the digi image with the dog rather than without.

So, here's my card..

I've coloured him in using Spectrum Noir pens. As for the embossing, I used my stars folder to emboss the square red and blue pieces. The sentiment was printed from the pc.

There we have it. Hope to see you pop by the blog and play along!

My Time To Craft DT - Cute & Cuddly

Good Morning!
It's getting colder and colder... I hope we get snow soon!

Over at My Time To Craft we have a new challenge of

"Cute and Cuddly Christmas Animals"

This means use anything Cute & Cuddly for Christmas.

I have used a cute and cuddly bear from Di's Digi's Stamps. The image can be found HERE.
(Go to the bottom of the page and it's second in from the right)

Here's my card:

Full Card
I wanted to keep the card fairly simple hence using only a few embellishments and papers. The papers are from the Dovecraft Back To Basics II set. And, yep, you guessed it... I had to add a couple of snowflakes! I do love my snowflakes! Plus my twine and buttons....

Here's a couple more pictures:

Geeky Mae

I absolutely LOVE the girlies from Some Odd Girl
They do fit pretty much any occasion and are suitable for any age.
The boys are very cute too :)

So, the card itself is for Fay, she has Gok style glasses and loves pale blue. Perfect!

Full card
The image has been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. Fabulous. They blend so well. The "13" was printed and cut out by hand. It's the design to look a little rough around the edges ;)
The layout is from the Papertake Weekly Challenge which I'm entering this card into, Sketch #84.
I didn't think spots, stripes, gingham and stars would go but I'm pretty happy with it.

Here's a few more photos:

So hoping Fay will like it!

Anyone for Anya? - Photo Challenge

This week's challenge at Anyone for Anya? is a photo challenge...

Now, you'd think "all those colours, which one do I use as the main colour?"
Well, I've done my card mainly white (the background of the pic) and used the colours on the image and around the image.

Card
I think I've got my camera set up to "poster" but the stars are more bright than in the picture.

More stars
That's me done.

My Guy Ian & Paper Piecing

Hello Everyone,
Been a while since I last posted anything.. been busy making die-cuts up for my eBay shop. Those little fairies are so fiddly! But anyways, had a text for a Boy's 18th Birthday card.. And what better image to use than "My Guy Ian" from the Miss Anya range..

So the challenge from Cute Card Thursday is as follows :

"Challenge 238 - Paper Piecing

This week we want to see cards/projects featuring paper piecing somewhere on them...can be a little or a lot..."

The paper piecing on my card is pretty much Ian's clothing. The jeans are the same colour as the background is mounted on. His t-shirt is the kraft card backing and his shirt is the stripey paper. I didn't think it would stand out against the "check" of the image but it works.. I think...

So, without further ado, here's my card:

Complete Card
I did "roll" the image as well so that it stands up against the card n used 2 foam pads to attach it to the card.

Here are some of the details close up:

Thanks for popping by... I think this has inspired me..

Passion for promarkers - "Kraft +1 other colour"

Distressed Whiff of Joy

So ProMarkers challenge is : "Kraft +1 other colour"

I did actually make this card a few days ago to be put onto my website. As you will notice, there is no greeting on this card as it can then be personalised. Also the cirlce is blank to add an age if needed.

The card stock used was coredinations. I must admit.... I do LOVE this card, rich colours yet you can distress it too. And scallop edge cards are just fab! This one is 8x8.

Added a few eyelets and stars for extra details.

Coloured the Guy in using ProMarkers; Shirt - Sandstone; Bottoms - China Blue; Hair - Terrecotta; Skin - Satin, Blush & Dusky Pink.

Something New

Good Morning..  Hope you all had a great christmas & fab new year too.  We are finally back with a new challenge over at My Time ...
