I went with quite a gothic looking card for this image which is stunning yet simple at the time.
The backing paper is out of two different paper pads from Poundland!
They are lovely!
Added some silver washi tape with the card candi too. Adds a bit of definition :)

Have fun with the "anything goes" challenge :)

MTTC - Sketch

Good Morning!
Another Saturday and time for another challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE
This fortnight's challenge is a sketch! By meeeee..... :)

Here's what I'm come up with...
I used a Faery Ink girl on this card ;)

She has been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens in greens and pinks.
Originally, her hair was going to be green but I changed my mind. I like the pink.
The "awesome" is wooden wording.
Added the pearls & ribbon for a finishing touch :)

Hope you enjoy the sketch!
 jo ;)

MTTC DT - Girlie

Morning!

What a horrible wet day!
Bad day for me today, I have to go and buy a new die cutting machine as my other one broke!
This is the second one I've had in two years and they've both broken with the same fault :(

Anyways, on to a new challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE
This challenge we want to see "Girlie" - doesn't have to be pink!!

Although, I've gone with pink only 'cos it was on the order ;)
I've used a super cute Lili Of The Valley square topper card.

The papers are a digital download from Etsy. I do love a spotty paper!
Added some glittery washi tape, gems, buttons, bows and "Abby" is die cut along with the "1" on the pram.
No colouring involved in this creation!

I hope you all play along with the challenge.
I'm off to buy a new machine! *insert crying face*

Enjoy!

SSD Sponsorships - Star Wars Themed

Hello!

Here today to show you a couple of Sassy Studio Sponsorships we have for the day.
First up is Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge - Link is HERE
The challenge is "Star Wars"
I've use Princess Leia on my ATC. The papers I had as part of a download set so used them.
The writing is handwritten in white gel pen with some washi tape and gems added for detail.

The second card is for Inspiration Destination - Link is HERE
Again I've stuck with the Star Wars theme as this is an "Anything Goes" theme.
I've used Yoda. But instead of leaving him flat, I've cut him out and layered him up :) :)

Have fun with the challenges!
You never know you may win!
Enjoy :)

CWWC DT - Star Stampz

Morning!

Super quick post from me today.
We have a brand new challenge over at Crafting When We Can today - Link is HERE
The challenge  for this fortnight is

"use Washi tape"

Awesome! One of my favourite things to use on cards.
this challenge we are sponsored by the awesome Star Stampz - Link is HERE
I got to use Spring Rain - Link is HERE

I went with something quite bold and bright with this. I was watching Coraline at the time when I coloured her up so took inspiration from the colours.
She's been coloured using spectrum Noir pens. I even coloured the white space to look a little cloudy too lol.
The sentiment is printed from the pc. It's here that I've added a bit of washi tape and on to the yellow spotty paper. Both yellow spots and blue clouds are a digital download.

As I said super quick post from me.
Hope to see you over at the blog :)
Enjoy!

DTBST - Anything Goes

Hello Sassy Fans!

A brand new challenge over at Dare To Be Sassy today - Link is HERE
Our Challenge for this week is

"Anything Goes"

I've gone with a glittered up Frozen Queen.
It's actually for a picture frame, but I've ran out of frames :-/
As soon as I get a frame, I'll post a completed pic :)

I am going to add the little girl's name in between the snowflakes to make it look as the the Frozen Queen is throwing out her name in the snowflakes.
As you can see, her bodice and dress have been glittered up using white glitter. Underneath I coloured her using promarkers and spectrum noir pens.
The snowflakes are punches that I've used on silver, white and blue card. Added some washi tape to the edges, along with a button, snowflake and twine.

Look forward to seeing all your creations,

MTTC - Friendship/Friends

Good Morning!

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year.
Mine was very quiet, just a nice relax.

So, with the start of 2016, we have a new challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE
And the challenge is

"Friendship/Friends"

I've used an image from Faery Ink. I'd love to tell you what it's called but I can't remember!
Both girls have been coloured using Promarkers and I've cut round the image to zone in on the two girls. I did struggle with the background as I'd coloured the image before doing the card. I had to get some blue in there! Added the gems, flowers & washi tape for extra details. Sentiment has been printed off the pc. Here's a few more pics:

Enjoy the challenge!
Back with a bang :)

Hello everyone!
Double whammy in a quick post from me today.!

I'm showcasing both the FBF image for this Friday and my progressive challenge make for SSD - Link to blog is HERE

So, this week's FBF image is Holiday Pie.
I went with a CAS card for this image with the use of washi tape, ribbon and gems.

My next card is for the Progressive Challenge which runs on our facebook page - Link is HERE
This image is Princess Feather Portrait - Link is HERE
I have coloured her using spectrum noir pens, I've used washi on this too and twine ;)

As i say, super quick from me! I'm trying to catch up on everything. EEEEKKK!
Have fun with the images, especially the FBF, if you are part of the Facebook Group, You can get them for free for 24 hours starting on a Friday. Keep your eyes peeled!

FBF - Polka Dot Bikini

Afternoon Sassy Fans!

I'm here with another Flash Back Friday creation for you. Images should be in the store for you - Link is HERE

Back to being CAS this week... I didn't think she needed a lot on the card. I found the sentiment online. I thought it was super funny and had to use it! In fact, it may have been off pinterest. This time, I've coloured the image in promarkers. I like the skin but think it's a tad pale but hey ho, she is supposed to be sunbathing to get a tan LOL

Do stop by the Facebook group with your creations and the blog to see what the team have come up with :)

OutLawz DT - Use 2 frames

Good Morning!
I hope the sun is shining where you are

This week we have a brand new challenge over at Monday Greetings - Link is HERE
The challenge is

"Use TWO frames on your card"

Now I struggled with this but came up with something. I was also luckily enough to be able to use one of our two sponsors images as well. So, here's what I created...

This little darling is called Lady Bug, hence the greeting - Link for image HERE
And she is from the adorable My Stitch Back In Twine - Link to shop HERE
She's been coloured in Spectrum Noir pens and cut out. The "stripes" along the bottom of the card are washi tape. What a great idea I thought when I seen the idea so decided to try it :)
I added the bow to the frame with a brad and glittered it up. I also wanted to keep the card quite clean and simple with only a couple of colours :)

Have a good week! Happy Crafting :) :)

Sassy Studio DT - DTBST #278

Good Morning!

I'm here again on this lovely sunny Thursday to tell you about the new challenge over at DTBST.
This weeks challenge is "Come Fly With Me" - use something with wings.

So, here's what I've got

I've used Dark Fairy which can be found HERE. She's been coloured in using both spectrum noirs and promarkers. I have added some black glitter to her as well. For this card I wanted to keep it quite CAS hence the image being so big but I like her big to be honest. The sentiment is printed from the PC. I added the washi tape and pearls for a bit of detail too. I do love the shape of a bracket card too :)

I do love this image and have fun colouring her up.
Come along to the blog, say hi! and maybe play along. You don't have to use a SSD image either :)

ATC

Hello :)

First time I'm making an ATC for ages, but thought I'd give these another go. they make perfect toppers :)

I'm entering into the challenge at Wicked Wednesday ATC.
The challenge is to pick 3 of the following:

Wings/Pearls or Gems/Lots of Pink Goth or Emo/Paper Piecing/Add a Die Cut Flowers/Add Some Paint/Use Mists or Sprays/Washi Tape

I've used Washi tape/goth or emo/lots of pink

The image is from The Greeting Farm, Cordelia and can be found HERE. Now, considering I'm a girl it's safe to say I'm not very girlie at all and I don't like pink. but I use a lot of pink on my cards which is strange! LOL. And no, I wouldn't like pink hair even tho I've coloured her with having pink hair. She's been coloured using spectrum noir pens. The washi tape is from ikea. Love that place and the curly border has been drawn on by me :) I did make her into a card as well...

Thanks for popping by and taking a peek

My Time To Craft DT - Zentangle

Morning!
Up bright and early today. I'm too excited! Going to watch the football team I support this evening play our local rivals in the 2nd of two matches playing them this week. We beat them on Tuesday night and I'm hoping we do the same again today!

Anyways, enough about football (I'm so not girlie!) We have a new challenge over at MTTC this week and it certainly was a challenge...

"Zentangle"

I had no idea what or how to zentangle but after looking on YouTube I found a lot of help and came up with this

Wanted to keep the card simple with the emphasis on the zentangle. I've used washi tape for extra detail on the back. I had a lot of fun doing this technique. I would say tho, use a fine pen rather than a sakura pen that I used.

Looking forward to see what everyone comes up with!

Crafting When We Can DT - Stitching

Good Morning!
I hope it's not too wet and windy where you are in the UK.

Another fab challenge over at CWWC this fortnight, which is

Stitching - Real or Faux

We are sponsored for this challenge by Oddball Art Co. They have a store on Etsy which can be found HERE. I've been given the image of Starlynn Queen to use and this is what I've come up with

I've coloured using spectrum noir pens and used nesties to cut her out on the circle. I wanted to colour her a little different to I usually do, I usually play safe. Decided to colour the hair a similar shade of pink to the glitter backing paper I've used. I've also gone for Faux stitiching around the backing paper. Added some washi tape and twine.

I hope you can stop by and play along!

Something New

Good Morning..  Hope you all had a great christmas & fab new year too.  We are finally back with a new challenge over at My Time ...
