FBF - Elsa

Hello SSD fans!

A quick post from me today with one of the super sassy Frozen girls, I've made a card using Elsa but there is Anna too. Head on over to the facebook group where you can get both images for free for 24hrs after Samantha has posted them - Link to Facebook group is HERE

Of course I just HAD to glitter up the dress! I used frosty backing papers along with snowflake vellum and glitter card all mat and layered onto silver mirror board. The twine I have used even sparkles too! The snowflake is a button which is just threaded through :)

There we have it!
Our last FBF for this year, we will be back on Jan 1st 2016!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

CWWC DT - Sketch

Good Morning!

A new challenge over at Crafting When We Can today - Link is HERE
Our new challenge is a Sketch! I do love sketch challenges!

What did you all think of the blog hop?
There were some pretty cool cards made by the DT. I enjoyed going to visit all the blogs :)

So, We are sponsored by Robyn's Fetish - Link to store is HERE
I got to use the super cute image of The Mittens - Link is HERE
Here's the sketch :

And here's what I've come up with...

I decided to go with red and white as I love this for Christmas cards. This is only the second or third one I've made! EEEEKKK! I really need to start them!
The image has been coloured in using promarkers. The background itself is embossed and the ribbon is from Next. You get 3 on a spool. Not bad really!

Here's some more pics...

I'll definitely be using this image again!
Hope to see you all stop by the blog :)

MTTC DT - Christmas in July

The dreaded "C" word... Christmas!
I really must start my christmas cards tho as I always run out!

Anyhoo's, new challenge over at My Time To Craft this week is "Christmas in July"
- link is HERE
So show us your christmas designs!

I've had the papers for aggggeeeesssssss! And never knew what to do with them until now! And I think this image is perfect for the papers. I did choose the papers before I coloured the image, and I love it! I used the 3 main colours with a bit of white thrown in too. Also had to get my new embossing snow folder in there too and of course a snowflake! Sentiment was printed off the pc. The image is from Melonheadz.

So that's one down and about 63 to go LOL!

Elsa...

I love love love this image I've used on the card I'm about to show you tonight.
It's the second card I've used it on this week! EEEEK!

She is from Sassy Studio Designs, the post for her can be found HERE. For this card, I wanted to keep it very white so the image is standing out instantly. I've coloured her using Spectrum Noir pens but used promarkers on the hair. I've glittered up her bodice and skirt in the same glitter and then used a finer glitter to glitter up her train. The backing paper is actually vellum with a glittered up swirl pattern on it which I've layered up on white card. The #4 is die cut while the sentiment has been printed on to vellum. I've added a snowflake button to the ribbon bow. Funny how christmas ribbon can work on a card lol.

A few more pictures :)

I'm entering this card into the follwoing challenges:

1. Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge - Ribbon and Bow

2. The Ribbon Girl - Birthday Themed Any Image

Thanks for pooping by and taking a peek!

My Time To Craft DT - White on White Christmas Card

Hello everyone! Hope You are all well.

Time for another challenge over at My Time To Craft. This week the theme is...

"White on White Christmas Card"

This means that the card is all white apart from the image.

For my card, I've used dies to cut out a winter scene. I also embossed the card around the scene in a snowflake embossing folder. And of course, no christmas card is complete without a snowflake!

Here's my card:

Full Card
I have used a glitter pen on the winter scene to show the sparkling snow and I added some "stars" to the blue so it looks more like a starry night. The sentiment is printed from the pc. A few white pearls have been added to finish off the card. I think my Mom has pinched it to give to her friend this christmas!

Please come by the blog and play along....

White on White with a splash of Green...

Good Evening everyone..

It's gone very cold here all of a sudden and awfully foggy too. A good time to keep warm by crafting! Although, you can't currently see my desk! Ooops...

Anyhows, onto the post.
Today I've made a couple of cards using White on White with a Splash of Green.. I've done an A5 version and a 5x7" version. Will pop a pic in the post of both. So I'm going to enter the Love to Create challenge which is... yep.. you guessed it... White on White with a Splash of Green.
Without any further ramblings, here is my card...

Full Card
Usually, I emboss the top layer with a snowflake embossing folder, but I thought I'd leave it blank. I'm undecided whether I perfer it embossed or not. The winter scene is a die cut which has been layered up with a cvouple of punched snowflakes. Added a few pearls and bit of ribbon and done. It's a pretty quick card to make but effective.

Here's a closer pic of the winter scene,

Winter Scene & Greeting
Now here's the 5x7 version. I only used one layer of the winter scene on this one as I didn't want to cover up the backing paper.

5x7 Version

Still have two christmas cards left to do with no idea what to put on them!

Warm Winter Wishes...

...bbbbbrrrrr!! It's cold and we aren't even half way through November!

Today I thought I'd make a light grey and blue card, not sure the greeting of "Warm Winter Wishes" goes though as it's quite and icy colour scheme. But anyways, it's stuck down now so hey ho.

Full Card
The image itself isn't really a christmas image but I think I've got away with it. It's from Crafts and Me and it's by Hannah Lynn. The backing paper hasn't shown up in the picture but it is glitter up. I also used liquid pearls on the hair to highlight it as well.

If I was a digi image....

... this is what I'd look like! ha ha... Claret glasses, short brown hair with red & blonde highlights/lowlights, not sure I'm that skinny mind and the colours of the Bhoys in Green! Oh, I'd have to swap the wine glass for a pint glass too ;)

Full Card
I didn't actually think the green & burgandy woiuld go but it does... I think....
Absolutely love these shaped cards purely because they are not square! Something a bit different. They are known as "snowflake" cards.

I'm entering this card into 2 challenges:

Embossing!

Lazy Day Kaylee here today on a clean n crisp card.

The challenge I am entering my card into is the My Time To Craft challenge of "Embossing".
I have used embossing folders rather than use heat embossing. I decided on a clean and crisp card with a hint of colour. Luckily, I had enough purple ribbon!

Here is Kaylee...

I have used 2 different folders and added pearls for a bit more detail too.

It's for a Nan (obviously) but I've used a snowflake shaped card. These, I ♥ !! Wanted to keep the cards simple but elegant as well.

This was the first card out the set to be made. The other 2 are as follows:

Bracket Card

Scallop Card

All simple and elegant. They were so popular, that I now have another order for one. That's without even doing 2 for my Mommyo! Think the last one is my favourite!
