Navy, Pink & Cake

Good Morning!

Hope you are all well and not too cold.
It's currently -2 here in the middle of the UK!

Anyways, I'm here today to show you a card I've made for my cousin's birthday.
I am going to add her age but I couldn't remember how old she is! Ooops!
Turns out she's 13.....

So, here's the card:

The colour scheme and layout have come from the inspiration pic and layout on Fusion Card - Link is HERE
And the image is from Tiddly Inks. She is called "Cute as a Cupcake Girl" - Link is HERE
I can not remember the last time I used my Spectrum Noir pens but I did on this. I had forgotten how good they are!
The spotted and chrevon papers are a digital download from etsy.
Think I will die cut "13" out in pink and add it to lopsided spotty paper.

I'd like to enter this card in to the following challenges:

Thanks for popping by! :)

MTTC DT - Check It out!

Morning!
A brand new challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE

This time we have the challenge of "Check it Out!"

I do love using check paper :)

I used an image that I've had coloured up for ages! It's from Saturated Canary and is called Violet Vintage - Link is HERE
She has been coloured using Promarkers on white linen cardstock. I wanted to go with vintage looking colours, luckily when I came to add this image to a card that I had checked paper to match! Always a bonus! :) :)
The back layer is kraft card that's been embossed using a linen card. Added think blue ribbon and bow using an orange brad. The flower in the bottom right corner is a brown paper punched out lots of times with a brad in the middle. Just ruffle it up and you have your own flower.

I hope you have as much fun with the challenge that we have!

CF DT - Fairy Ink

Eeeeek! I love the image I've used for this card!!
Let's start the post off properly!

Good Morning!
I hope you are all well wherever you are around the world.

This week we are sponsored by the awesome Faery Ink - Link to shop HERE
over at Creative Fingers - Link is HERE
As always the theme is "Anything Goes"
This challenge will be our last for 2015 and will last 2 weeks.

So here's what I come up with...

I LOVE this image!!! Image is called Holiday Tree Destiny - Link is HERE
She is soooo super cute! I knew straight away that I would be using her for my little cousin's Christmas card. Abigail is not very girly so I decided to colour her blue. The blonde hair represents Abigail too. I have used a 6x6 paper sheet and an embossed card with swirls on the background which have both been layered on to grey and cyan coloured card. The ribbon is from IKEA and it's got the wire running around the edge so it's easy manipulated. She has been coloured using Promarkers.

Here's a few more pics...

There you have it! I really enjoyed making this card. Have fun with the challenge!

I am also entering this into the following challenges :

1. Crafty Catz - Shades of Blue
2. Star Stampz - All About Girls
3. Faery Ink FB Group - Winter Wonderland

Thanks for popping by!

MTTC DT - Quilt It!

Morning!

A brand new challenge over at My Time To Craft today - Link is HERE

This fortnights challenge is

"Quilt It!"

We want to see anything quilted on your projects, you could do ready made papers or make your own.
Here's what I've come up with

I've actually made a christmas card!! The topper is from the Cute Christmas Pad by Hunkydory. The quilted paper I have had this for ages!!! Added the brad and ribbon, which was from Next. Love next ribbon. Rather than using a greeting printed off the pc, I decided to use a wooden wording. I think it works.

Anyhow's, I hope to see you join the challenge :)

Monday Greetings DT - Anything Goes

Hello everyone!

I new challenge over at Monday Greetings on the OutLawz today - Link is HERE
Our new challenge is "Anything Goes!"

We are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments - Link to store is HERE
I got to use the super cute Jason and Eve - Link is HERE

I have used a little play on words with the greeting. I thought it was quite appropriate with the little boy and girl :)

Think I'm going through a chevron phase! Seem to be using a lot of this card at the mo. This time I went with a hint of yellow rather than blue tho. Infact, I think I'd already coloured the image in so that was pretty simple to make. I've used a grey and white spotty paper behind the image to tie in with this hair and trousers. Had to get some buttons in there too! And the play of words with the greeting made me chuckle.

Here's a few more pics
Hope to see you join in the challenge :)

Creative Fingers DT - The East Wind

Good Morning!

A brand new challenge for you over at Creative Fingers today - Link is HERE
As always it's anything goes but this challenge we are sponsored by The East Wind - Link to store is HERE
I got to use the awesome Lucy Loo mirrorball earring and skull bag - Link is HERE
For something different, I did her near enough "normal" Although I have re-done her looking funky!

Card is A5 in size with the use of 3 different papers. I had to get a bow in there somewhere too! ;)
Lucy Loo has been coloured using promarkers. I did use a tombow pen to go over her hair to add some depth. I've not added a greeting as I may change the use for this card so left it blank.

Hope you enjoy the other DT creations :)

And I've coloured her in black and orange - something completely different to her usual look of blueish skin and red hair! EEEKKK!!!

I'm actually really pleased with the way this card turned out, especially only using 2/3 colours. I had to colour her up again tho after in correct colours. She may make an appearance next week along with Jack, who know's ;)
She's been coloured completely with Promarkers.

"Pirates and Princesses"

Of course I've gone with Elsa!  Link to image is HERE
Although I nearly went with Rapunzel as I was watching Tangled at the time.

Ellie LOVES Frozen so this is her card for her 8th Birthday which is next week. The background is embossed with a swirl folder and a snow folder. All the little snowflakes are punched out too. "Ellie" and the "8" are die-cuts along with the bigger snowflake. I am ummming and arrring whether to glitter up her dress, I know I will end up doing it. Who doesn't love a bit of glitter right?!

I've decided, she needs a glittery dress!

The sentiments are also from SSD out of another set but they work well for this image. the papers I've had for ages.. don't all of us have some papers like that?! So I thought I'd better use them! I'm here with a little late with my creation for the Sassy Studio Designs Progressive Challenge that is run on our Facebook group - Link to group is HERE

The image is a super fun one! I decided to go for the Pink Lady look :)

I decided to use super bright pink spotty paper to set off the pastel tone of the image. I gave glittered the shoes and suit up too. She's been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens and I also coloured in the "Relax" with the same pens too.

I am also going to enter this into the challenge over at Sweet Stampin' - Fill your boots!

I got to use the lovely Gabbie Loves To Colour - Link is HERE
She's perfect for all those crafty people! I decided to go quite girly with this card and use pink! She's been coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and Promarkers. The brad I used to green to add a hint of colour against the pink and white. Sentiment is printed off the PC.

Hope you all pop by the blog! :)

OutLawz DT - Use 2 frames

Good Morning!
I hope the sun is shining where you are

This week we have a brand new challenge over at Monday Greetings - Link is HERE
The challenge is

"Use TWO frames on your card"

Now I struggled with this but came up with something. I was also luckily enough to be able to use one of our two sponsors images as well. So, here's what I created...

This little darling is called Lady Bug, hence the greeting - Link for image HERE
And she is from the adorable My Stitch Back In Twine - Link to shop HERE
She's been coloured in Spectrum Noir pens and cut out. The "stripes" along the bottom of the card are washi tape. What a great idea I thought when I seen the idea so decided to try it :)
I added the bow to the frame with a brad and glittered it up. I also wanted to keep the card quite clean and simple with only a couple of colours :)

Have a good week! Happy Crafting :) :)

A super new challenge over at Dare To Be Sassy Thursday this week with the challenge of Bling up those creations - Link for blog is HERE.

I've gone with something a little different for this week's challenge and made a picture box.

I've used 120 gems on this bad boy! Along with snowflake glitter vellum, glitter on Elsa's dress, glitter ribbon and mirror board & irredescent card stock. I've also used a bling brad on the ribbon and bow. else has been coloured up using spectrum noir pens whereas Anna was promarkers. She is so intricate to colour but nevertheless, She turned out awesome!

There you have it! Please stop by the blog and play along :)

DTBST - Christmas In July

EEEEKKK! The dreaded "C" word already?!
I must admit, I need to start my christmas cards.
Anyhoo's, this week I thought I'd do something a bit different for the challenge over at DTBST - Link is HERE. I've decorated a black paper bag...

I've used the awesome image of Candy Cane - link is HERE
It was a toss up between Candy Cane the Elf and Pin Up Snowman! Was a very close call but I remembered that I had the papers so went with Candy Cane and I'm so glad I did.. I love her!!
She's been coloured mainly in Spectrum Noir's but promakers for her hair. The big pink bow is attached with a snowflake brad which fits in perfectly.

An inspiring challenge this week if, like me, you've not started your christmas cards!

MTTC DT - Paper Piecing

Good Morning!

Back this week with an awesome new challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE.
The challenge is "Paper Piecing" I actually LOVE this technique!

I've used a super cute Tiddly Inks image - Link to shop is HERE.
I thought I would use the check papers that I found at the bottom of the drawer for this card. I also wanted to paper piece her dress... it was less fiddly than the other images LOL!
Her Skin and hair have been coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. Sentiment printed off the PC.

I hope you stop by the blog :)

Sassy Studio Designs - Sponsorship

Morning Sassy Fans!
Another sponsors post from me today :)
This one is for The Outlawz and the challenge is "Twisted Easel" - Link is HERE.
I think I've found a new favourite SSD image, Sugar Skull Portrait!!! - Image link is HERE.

You can't see on the pic but the navy backing card is embossed. The red flowers, leaves and silver swirl are all die cuts. I added the pearls to the middle of the flowers to add some extra detail... or to cover the glue! LOL The image itself has been coloured with copics and promarkers. Had to add a bow as it looked  too plain. I also wanted to keep the colour scheme down to just a few colours.

Really enjoyed making this twisted easel card. Hadn't made one for ages!
I hope you join in too :)

MTTC DT - All White

Morning!

Another Saturday can only mean another challenge over at My Time To Craft
This weeks challenge is "All White Except The Image".
I do like making white on white cards and went with a Tiddly Inks image for this one. Image is Wryn BFF - link is HERE.

The image has been coloured using promarkers and Copics. Mixing it up again ;)
I wanted a CAS style card as to show off the image more. The backing is chevron embossed with the ribbon wrapped around it. I attached the bow with a brad too. The sentiment is printed off the pc and it reads "Our friendship is like a cup of tea, a special blend of you and me" No doubt my friend with nabb this! lol

That's it from me this week... going to try and find something to do beens there's no football on :'(
hehehe...

CWWC DT - Paper Piecing

Good Morning!

Super quick post from me this morning. Been a busy busy busy weekend!

A brand new challenge over at Crafting When We Can - this week its Paper Piecing and we are sponsored by the awesome Oddball Art Co.

I've had the pleasure of using the adorable image of Nixie The Pixie which can be found HERE. I've coloured the image with Spectrum Noir pens and paper pieced the mushrooms and her dress. For the backing I used larger spotty paper to what I paper pieced. Of course I had to get a ribbon and bow in it too ;)

As I say, super quick post from me. I hope you'll join in with the challenge

Something New
