CWWC DT - Any Occasion

Hello! 

A brand new challenge over at Crafting When We Can today - Link is HERE 

Where the challenge is "Any Occasion".

The image I've used is called Rora & Butterfly - Link is HERE

I went with pinks and a hint of red and gold for the image so I could tie the background and embellishments in. The image itself has been coloured in promarkers. And I've used a bracket shaped card instead of a normal square one. 

There is no sentiment on there as I've not decided what occasion to use it for yet :)

 I went with soft pastel colours with this rather than the dark colours I tend to use. A real summer feel.

CWWC DT - Favourite Colour Combo

Good Morning CWWC fans!

This fortnights challenge is "Favourite Colour Combo" 

Usually I got with my football teams colours, Claret & Blue, but I'm loving Red & Grey at the moment, so I went with this combo.

I was lucky enough to get to use Dreaming Of Spring - Link to image HERE.

Not a lot of mat and layering on my card. Wanted to keep it quite simple with the colours and design. I LOVE chevron paper!! And I also have a chevron embossing folder... bonus! The image itself has been coloured using Promarkers ans Copics. Added the spotty ribbon and bow to add a different pattern. Wasn't too sure whether it would work, but I think it does :)

I do love her images. So, along with being sponsored by Art By MiRan, the challenge for this fortnight is

"Favourite Quote or Saying" 

One of my favourite sayings is "Dance! Like no-one's watching..." This is what I've used on my card.

The image is Pretty Molly which can be found HERE.

The papers are a digital download from Etsy. I cut round the image so I could emboss the back panel. Added the glitter panel to pick um on the red of the dress. I was going to add pink flowers to enhance the flowers on the dress but thought it looked too much. Of course I added some pearls and a ribbon bow tied with twine and a button.
