MTTC DT - Owls

Good Morning! 

Today we have a brand new challenge over at My Time To Craft - Link is HERE

This fortnights challenge is 

"Owls" 

Perfect as I had a thank you card to make with owls on it! 

 

The image I've had for ages and it's a Whiff Of Joy image which is perfect for a thank you card. An act of Kindness, although I'd probably be the one at the bottom of the tree on my bum! hahaha 

The image itself has been coloured using Promarkers. I wanted to add a slight background too so did the dots lol

Spidermouse... spidermouse..

... does whatever a spidermouse does! lol lol.. 

So as you have probably guessed, my card for this post is something to do with Spidermouse! He's a lovely digi from Whiff of Joy... I think they did a Batmouse one too... *goes and checks*.... but onto this card... I'm going to enter it into the Papertake Weekly challenge which is ANYTHING GOES... I have used the Sketch from last week as well lol...  It's for Joey who is 5 today and he loves Spiderman... so what better image to use! :)

Image has been coloured in using promarkers and a white gel pen to highlight. The spiderweb paper was a download but I'm unsure where I got it from! lol Always the way :)

Distressed Whiff of Joy

So ProMarkers challenge is : "Kraft +1 other colour" 

I did actually make this card a few days ago to be put onto my website. As you will notice, there is no greeting on this card as it can then be personalised. Also the cirlce is blank to add an age if needed. 

The card stock used was coredinations. I must admit.... I do LOVE this card, rich colours yet you can distress it too. And scallop edge cards are just fab! This one is 8x8. 

Added a few eyelets and stars for extra details. 

Coloured the Guy in using ProMarkers; Shirt - Sandstone; Bottoms - China Blue; Hair - Terrecotta; Skin - Satin, Blush & Dusky Pink.

Its been a while since I joined in a challenge, always look but never enough hours in the day and all that jazz.... but last night I needed to do a card and quick!!!.... the sketch was perfect as its simple! (tip: great for a quick card!) So the Cupcake Craft sketch is as follows....

So the reason for the quick card.... Was on holiday last week, came back and remembered it was my mate's birthday! oops! i'm such a rubbish friend..... I know! She will be proud of me anyways..... its got PINK on it! i hate pink with a passion, give me claret any day ;) hahaha

So then, onto the card itself.... the image is by Whiff of Joy "Just a bit of Magic Witch" first time I've used it tbh but it's cool all the same. For quickness I used glitter card and added some card candi. So here as follows is the card.....

Two communion cards

Can't say I've ever made communion cards before until now! Had to do two for the same lass. This usually wouldn't be a problem because the communion age is 7/8 years old but the cards for the lass is 17 years old so quite tricky really. Well, the cards have been made and I hope they are okay.....
