The OutLawz DT - Burnishing!

Hello there!

Another Monday so another challenge over at Monday Greetings - Link is HERE
This week our challenge is "Burnish part of your card" - I had no idea what this was or how to do it!!
So after a lot of googling, I finally decided on how I was going to burnish my project.
This week we are sponsored by Bugaboo - Link is HERE
And 2 Cute 2 Ink - Link is HERE
I had the opportunity to use Bugaboo's Girls Happy Trio - Link to image HERE

So, the burnished part of my project is the image itself. I went with the technique of colouring the image with pencils and then going over it with a white pencil. This then blended the colours together and gave the image a slight sheen. I used Derwent Coloursoft pencils to colour the image in. The sentiment I made up and printed off the pc. It reads "There is no greater laughter than laughter among friends" very apt for the image! LOL Because I'd used different colours on the image, I wanted the card quite simple so went with a white embossed background, twine and buttons.

I hope you can see the burnishing in the pic on bottom right :)

Be nice to see you all over at the OutLawz - There's lots of challenges to along with!

CF DT - Anything Goes

Good Morning!

I'm back on the right team this week for the "Anything Goes" challenge over at Creative Fingers

This week I've gone with a card that's got no image on it. It was for my Brother and Sister-in-Law's 1st Wedding Anniversary :)

Pretty much every piece of card has been embossed that includes the vellum on the hearts too which have been punched out. The colour scheme for the wedding was white, navy blue and silver so I used the navy and silver against the white.  I can say as well, they loved it! And it's now in frame.

Hope you come join in the challenge! :)

Do You Want To Build A Snowman??....

Well not quite!
The sun has finally arrived.. YAY!

Anyways, you've probably guessed from the title that I've got another frozen card to show you today.
This ones a lilly different to the others I've done as it's flippin' HUGE! and because it's Elsa & Anna

Both images are from Sassy Studio Designs. The post for them can be found HERE. They've been coloured using both promarkers and spectrum noir pens. Elsa's dress has been glittered up too. The background of the card is vellum embossed with dots. Such a super cool effect. The other background with the swirly pattern is vellum too with the glitter swirly pattern. The card itself is A4. I had a hard time colouring Anna tho. Sooooo much detail! I think I'd have struggled even more if the image was smaller lol. Added the ribbon and bow to finish off. The sentiment is printed off the pc and waltograph font was used.

I'm entering this in to the following challenges:

1. Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge - Use a boy/girl/both

2. Addicted to Stamps & More - Make Your Mark

3. Crafty Gals Corner - Anything Goes

4. C.R.A.F.T Challenge - Inspired By A Film
