DTBST DT - Monochromatic

Morning SSD Fans!
A new challenge over at DTBST today - Link is HERE
Challenge this week is "monochromatic!"

I was struggling a little with this but I had to make a Frozen themed card for an order so decided to use this for the challenge :)

I coloured her up first with promarkers, added the swirl embossed card to some light blue backing and then added all my elements. All I had for the order was "princess/frozen, glitter and bling" think I pulled it off!
The greeting is printed on to vellum and pushed up away from the card. The snowflakes are die cuts :)

Hope you enjoy the challenge!
I'm off to colour her up in red. See what she looks like ;)

But first I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

1. Penny's Paper Crafty challenges - Celebrations
2.  I love Promarkers - Anything Goes
3. Cute Card Thursday - Ladies Only

DTBST - Anything Goes

Hello Sassy Fans!

A brand new challenge over at Dare To Be Sassy today - Link is HERE
Our Challenge for this week is

"Anything Goes"

I've gone with a glittered up Frozen Queen.
It's actually for a picture frame, but I've ran out of frames :-/
As soon as I get a frame, I'll post a completed pic :)

I am going to add the little girl's name in between the snowflakes to make it look as the the Frozen Queen is throwing out her name in the snowflakes.
As you can see, her bodice and dress have been glittered up using white glitter. Underneath I coloured her using promarkers and spectrum noir pens.
The snowflakes are punches that I've used on silver, white and blue card. Added some washi tape to the edges, along with a button, snowflake and twine.

Look forward to seeing all your creations,

FBF - Elsa

Hello SSD fans!

A quick post from me today with one of the super sassy Frozen girls, I've made a card using Elsa but there is Anna too. Head on over to the facebook group where you can get both images for free for 24hrs after Samantha has posted them - Link to Facebook group is HERE

Of course I just HAD to glitter up the dress! I used frosty backing papers along with snowflake vellum and glitter card all mat and layered onto silver mirror board. The twine I have used even sparkles too! The snowflake is a button which is just threaded through :)

There we have it!
Our last FBF for this year, we will be back on Jan 1st 2016!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

SSD Sponsorship - Pirates and Princesses

Hello!

A quick post from me this afternoon with a card for the sponsorship over at Incy Wincy Designs - Link is HERE

The challenge theme is
"Pirates and Princesses"

Of course I've gone with Elsa!  Link to image is HERE
Although I nearly went with Rapunzel as I was watching Tangled at the time.

Ellie LOVES Frozen so this is her card for her 8th Birthday which is next week. The background is embossed with a swirl folder and a snow folder. All the little snowflakes are punched out too. "Ellie" and the "8" are die-cuts along with the bigger snowflake. I am ummming and arrring whether to glitter up her dress, I know I will end up doing it. Who doesn't love a bit of glitter right?!

I've decided, she needs a glittery dress!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

1. Eureka Stamps - Monochrome
2. Artistic Inspirations - Anything Goes With A Twist Of Magic

Thank you for popping by!

A super new challenge over at Dare To Be Sassy Thursday this week with the challenge of Bling up those creations - Link for blog is HERE.

I've gone with something a little different for this week's challenge and made a picture box.

I've used 120 gems on this bad boy! Along with snowflake glitter vellum, glitter on Elsa's dress, glitter ribbon and mirror board & irredescent card stock. I've also used a bling brad on the ribbon and bow. else has been coloured up using spectrum noir pens whereas Anna was promarkers. She is so intricate to colour but nevertheless, She turned out awesome!

There you have it! Please stop by the blog and play along :)

SSD is SIX!! New Release & Blog Hop

Good Morning!!

YAYAY!!!!

The day has finally arrived to unveil all those awesome teasers... How many of you guessed right?! How many of you will win an image or even the whole new release?!

So, before I show you what I've created, We have a super easy blog challenge starting over on the SSD blog - Link is HERE - which is "Anything Goes". So go create and link up! :)

We also have a blog hop going on where you could win the WHOLE release! whoop!
Blog hop will be at the bottom of this post...

I got to create with the awesome Frozen Heart Buttercream Babe. Of course I was super chuffed.... a new Frozen image!!!! And a Buttercream Babe at that!!! Wahay!

She has been coloured in using Spectrum Noir pens and Promarkers. I have cut round her so that she could be raised away from the backing card which is pink glitter with a silver fleck. The white is embossed. I was going to use a snowflake embossing folder but changed my mind. I used snow on the Snow Queen Buttercream Babe. Added the glittery twine and a white snowflake. The other snowflakes are punched out of silver mirror board. Added the pearls randomly. The greeting is a line out of the film, "Do you wanna build a snowman?" and the font is Disney font from dafont.com.

So, I also decided to do some of the other new images in the release. Here they are,

**Aries & Taurus from previous release**

Do You Want To Build A Snowman??....

Well not quite!
The sun has finally arrived.. YAY!

Anyways, you've probably guessed from the title that I've got another frozen card to show you today.
This ones a lilly different to the others I've done as it's flippin' HUGE! and because it's Elsa & Anna

Both images are from Sassy Studio Designs. The post for them can be found HERE. They've been coloured using both promarkers and spectrum noir pens. Elsa's dress has been glittered up too. The background of the card is vellum embossed with dots. Such a super cool effect. The other background with the swirly pattern is vellum too with the glitter swirly pattern. The card itself is A4. I had a hard time colouring Anna tho. Sooooo much detail! I think I'd have struggled even more if the image was smaller lol. Added the ribbon and bow to finish off. The sentiment is printed off the pc and waltograph font was used.

I'm entering this in to the following challenges:

1. Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge - Use a boy/girl/both

2. Addicted to Stamps & More - Make Your Mark

3. Crafty Gals Corner - Anything Goes

4. C.R.A.F.T Challenge - Inspired By A Film

Thanks for popping by and taking a peek!

Elsa...

I love love love this image I've used on the card I'm about to show you tonight.
It's the second card I've used it on this week! EEEEK!

She is from Sassy Studio Designs, the post for her can be found HERE. For this card, I wanted to keep it very white so the image is standing out instantly. I've coloured her using Spectrum Noir pens but used promarkers on the hair. I've glittered up her bodice and skirt in the same glitter and then used a finer glitter to glitter up her train. The backing paper is actually vellum with a glittered up swirl pattern on it which I've layered up on white card. The #4 is die cut while the sentiment has been printed on to vellum. I've added a snowflake button to the ribbon bow. Funny how christmas ribbon can work on a card lol.

A few more pictures :)

I'm entering this card into the follwoing challenges:

1. Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge - Ribbon and Bow

2. The Ribbon Girl - Birthday Themed Any Image

Thanks for pooping by and taking a peek!

Let it gooooo.....

I do love Frozen.. and colouring this image to make Ebony's 4th Birthday card :)

The image is from Sassy Studio Designs and can be found HERE. She's been coloured using spectrum noirs but the hair was coloured with promarkers. I struggled with the hair to be honest because so it's so light! But I think I've pulled it off. the bodice of the dress I've glittered up and the overlay train is actually glittered vellum. I used vellum so it would give the transparent look. The sentiment is printed on to vellum too and the font is a disney font from dafont. The #4 is die cut.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

1. That Craft Place - Anything Goes/Mother's Day

2. Chocolate, Coffee & Cards - For A Child

3. Sassy Studio Designs - To Die For

Thanks for stopping by & taking a peek!
